MUSIC LYF: Fall Out Boy - Save Rock And Roll (A+lbum)


Multi-platinum Grammy®-nominated group Fall Out Boy earn their second career #1 Soundscan debut this week, as SAVE ROCK AND ROLL (released April 16th on Decaydance/Island Records) enters the Billboard 200 albums chart at #1 on first week sales of 153,700 copies.

Outside the U.S., SAVE ROCK AND ROLL is this week’s top iTunes worldwide story, entering at #1 in 27 countries including Canada, Mexico, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Malaysia, PHILIPPINES, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, Japan and South Africa. The album entered at #2 in another 13 countries including the UK, Australia, Austria, Ireland, Brazil, and Russia. In all, the album entered inside the Top 10 in 60 countries including Norway, Argentina, Finland, Sweden, Germany, Denmark, Belgium, France, India, and Poland.

Since the February 4 launch of SAVE ROCK AND ROLL, “My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light Em Up)” and the tour, the band has been releasing an 11 part video series entitled "Save Rock and Roll: The Young Blood Chronicles,” and most recently launched the third part, “Young Volcanoes.”
