Michele Gumabao, Cherry Macatangay join Adamson Lady Falcons’ coaching staff

Adamson University (AdU) ignites its competitive spirit with the appointment of seasoned volleyball players Cherry Macatangay and Michele Gumabao as assistant coaches of the AdU Lady Falcons.

Cherry Macatangay is a multi-titled volleyball player and former member of the Adamson Lady Falcons. She has received several accolades in both local and international arenas, including the Shakey’s V League 2005-2006 MVP Award and the league’s Best Scorer of its 2004-2005 2nd Conference, 2005-2006 and 2006-2007 2nd Conference. On top of this, she was also a consistent player of the Philippine Women’s National Volleyball team that was sent to compete in the Southeast Asian Games and brought home silver and bronze medals in 1995, 2001, 2003, and 2005.
