What To Watch This Week: Heroes, Villains, and Bad Vacations

Hey, since I have been encountering a lot of great series lately I would like to talk about them in with a weekly special I call "What To Watch This Week," it might be a long title but it self-explanatory what it features. We will be talking about upcoming series, premieres, and also movies that are coming in the next few days. Today we will be have two series that will make its way to Philippine viewers from the US.

Legends of Tomorrow

The DC Comics universe is indeed a vast multiverse to get into, and while we are waiting for Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice, they paved another live action collection of heroes (and villains) with Legends of Tomorrow. From the makers of Arrow and The Flash, it spins off from the crossover series which introduces the heroes Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) , The Atom (Brandon Routh), White Canary (Caity Lotz), Firestorm (Victor Garber as Professor Martin Stein and Franz Drameh as Jefferson "Jax" Jackson), Hawkman (Falk Hentschel), and Hawkgirl (Ciara Renée). They are also joined by "former" Villains Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) and Heatwave (Dominic Purcell).

REEL DEAL: Alvin and the Chipmunks The Road Chip

ALLLVVIIINNN!!!

The loud yet funny scream of Dave will be heard this new year with the latest movie of the family favorite Alvin and the Chipmunks. This time, the gang team up with a very unlikely ally or enemy or probably both with The Road Chip.

The dilemma comes with the start of Dave's new life with a new girlfriend and moving from all the mishap and misadventures they have been through all the years. The last one was a shipwreck and they really get into trouble everywhere. With a suspicion of a engagement happening and to be a future brother to her son Miles, the chipmunks plan to stop the engagement from happening.

Up And Coming Talented Young Actor Josh Green Stars As Mischievous Brother-To-Be-In “ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS 4: THE ROAD CHIP”

The Chipmunks we know and love, Alvin, Theodore and Simon embark on a journey across the U.S. and for the first time, they’re on a mission to keep their family together in the fourth installment of the hugely successful family adventure franchise in “Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip.”

In their latest adventure, through a series of misunderstandings, Alvin, Simon and Theodore come to believe that Dave is going to propose to his new girlfriend in Miami…and dump them.  They have three days to get to him and stop the proposal, saving themselves not only from losing Dave but possibly from gaining a terrible stepbrother, Miles, played by Josh Green.

The idea of Dave tying the knot doesn’t thrill the boys; in fact, they fear it’ll uproot their lives – and maybe uproot them from Dave’s home!  Further complicating matters is Sam’s (Dave’s special friend played by Kimberly Willams-Paisley) teenage son, Miles (Green), who has an instant dislike of the Chipmunks.

One of the most successful family movie franchise, “Alvin and the Chipmunks” presents a new road to chip in the latest kiddie and family adventure movie “Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip” bringing in a mix of the new and classic Chipmunks’ mischievous humor and heartwarming moments that fans adore about the franchise.

In the latest movie, “Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip,”  Dave’s (Jason Lee) career as a musical artist manager has taken off, thanks to the Chipmunks.   He also has an exciting new client – a rising young pop star, named Ashley, played by actress/singer/author/model Bella Thorne (“My Own Worst Enemy,” “Shake It Up”).  Despite her popularity, Ashley has remained “sweet and down to earth,” says Thorne.  For example, she notes, “When we meet Ashley, she’s being stormed by paparazzi, but she makes sure that the ‘Munks aren’t trampled.”   Ashley also provides emotional and musical support to the ‘Munks when they reunite with Dave in Florida.
