Ground Zero Esports Lounge: Bringing the premier gaming experience to North Metro Manila

Ground Zero Esports Lounge, located in Xentro Mall, Antipolo aims to be the one-stop-shop for the gamer looking for a high-end gaming experience with premier amenities. Given the exponential rise of gaming and esports in the mainstream here in the Philippines, the need for spaces where gamers can congregate has also increased, and the local cybercafé industry needs to step up their game to keep up with the demands of their clientele. With impressive PC specs, wide-ranging dining options and an upscale ambiance, Ground Zero is the perfect hangout for gamers and non-gamers alike.

LakBayan: OneA Events Place

Planning to have bonding time with family and friends? Why not try something different and a little outside the busy Metro Manila but not way too far. And Antipolo comes to mind, there could be some places to go but which has good food, great music and a stunning view all in one.

Well all of these can be found in OneA Events Place (Pronounced as O-Ney-Yah) in Sumulong Highway. And we had several events held here which we truly enjoyed the venue very mush especially the view of Metro Manila. Just over a year in operation but it has held many events and also is becoming a favorite place for KTV.

We had a small get together with Bloggers to battle it out who will be the OneA Videoke King and Queen. So did I win? Check the results at the bottom of the article.  We also had a time to dine at Cafe Lupe which provided the great food we had while enjoying the new music and videoke. #Cheerio

Run To Commemorate Chit Simbulan’s Death

When I was young, we got into a car crash while on the dark national highway up north, luckily no one got hurt as the impact was at the rear end of our car and me and my siblings were sleeping at the back. In 2011, AJ Perez, the rising ABS CBN star got killed in an accident that also happened in the north highway. Road crahes happens everyday and may range from having minor scratches to fatal casualties.

“Itong mga nangyayaring road crashes, they could really alter someone’s life,” said Roland Simbulan, the husband of the U.P. professor/journalist who was killed in a bus-taxi collision last May 13, 2011.

It’s been almost a year since the untimely death of Lourdes “Chit” Estella Simbulan.

Speed limit has been implemented on major highways, including Commonwealth Avenue—where Chit died instantly.

But the numbers on road injuries keep on rising.

Run for Road Safety!

Did you know that the Philippines ranks high in terms of the total number of road accidents that happen each year?

In his effort to help create awareness on this, MacGraphics Carranz's top honcho Alvin Carranza launched a race event last year.

Dubbed the OneA Run for Road Safety, this joint activity with DOTC's (Department of Transportation and Communication) Decade of Action for Road Safety is set to take place on May 13, 2012, at 5:00 a.m.

Starting point will be OneA Place in Antipolo City, where there's going to be an onsite registration.
