Global Pop Star RITA ORA Coming to Manila

For the first time, British singer-songwriter Rita Ora will be coming to Manila on March 10, 2019 at the New Frontier Theater (formerly KIA Theatre), as part of her upcoming World Tour 2019 that will include stops in Europe, Asia and Australia.

The global pop star is also due to release her second studio album, ‘Phoenix’ out on November 23 via Atlantic Records, which includes the chart topping single ‘Let You Love Me’. It has been a momentous year and a half for Rita – following a sold out European tour and an incredible summer playing to millions of fans with over 33 live dates, her latest five hit singles have amassed over 1.3 billion Spotify steams worldwide. A1 Celebrates 20th Year Anniversary via a Reunion Concert!

The much-awaited reunion of well-loved 90s band A1 is finally happening! This time, fans will surely be thrilled as Paul Marazzi joins his original band mates Ben Adams, Mark Read, and Christian Ingebrigtsen for the British-Norwegian band’s 20th Anniversary “Reunion” Tour 2018. Portrait Artists Guild Opens Pigura

The Filipino Portrait Artists’ Guild, Inc. (FPAGI), a group of portrait artists based in Manila, will be opening their first group show on August 25, Thursday, 5 pm at Gateway Gallery.

The 21 artist-members have lined up various figurative paintings that depict the Filipino at work, during leisure, in motion and at rest. The works are indicative of the artists’ level of understanding of the human figure in relation to his or her environment, showing variety of styles, composition and influence.

The Magical Ice Festival Continues This Christmas With Disney On Ice!

Since I was a young boy, I loved my first experience of Disney On Ice which has been staged annually at Araneta Center. This year, it will now adapt a new story with the inclusion of the well loved story of Frozen featuring the sisters Anna and Elsa! Yes, this year it is time to "Let It Go" and ask the family "Do You Want To Build A Snowman" with the Disney On Ice.

Now on its 33rd show worldwide, Disney On Ice presents Magical Ice Festival will once again capture the hearts of the Filipino fans—both parents and their children—who will watch the show at the Big Dome. 

The Force Awakens at the new Gateway Dolby Atmos Cinema

With a lot of malls and movie houses popping up in the metro which of them truly makes a difference in terms of cinematic experience? Well we don't have to go far since Gateway Cinema finally unveiled their new and improved cinema 5 which is now the Gateway Dolby Atmos Theater!

And to celebrate this new milestone for Gateway mall, they had premiered the most awaited movie of the year, Star Wars The Force Awakens.

Though I have seen the film a day before, I would really love to see the film in a Dolby Atmos Cinema. Having experienced Dobly in very selected theaters in the Philippines, I can attest that it has the best cinema sound quality which enhances the viewing experience. This is also the biggest Dobly Atmos cinema in the country.

Less than a month into their reign as Binibining Pilipinas 2014 Queens, the newly crown beauty queens held a thanksgiving in the form of an outreach program. Bb. Pilipinas Charities Inc. and Dairy Queen jointly organized "Queens Give Back" charity event last April 29 at the Gateway Mall benefiting kids from the diocese of Novaliches Pastoral Care for Women and Children.

More than pretty faces, the girls displayed golden hearts as they spent a whole morning giving love and attention to the orphaned and the abandoned.
