Red Bull Music 3Style is Back to Crown its 5th Philippine Representative

Red Bull Music 3Style is back in the Philippines for its fifth year as a nationwide tournament. The National Finals brings five (5) of the country’s top DJ’s to battle it out for a spot in the World Finals at Xylo at the Palace, in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, on Saturday, November 17th, 2018.

Qualifying DJ’s applied online and uploaded a short, five minute performance video showcasing three different musical genres. Each entry was judged on skill, originality, and music selection. 

The six (6) DJ’s who advanced to the Red Bull Music 3Style Philippine National Finals are:

Shrimp Bucket Celebrates 5th Year With BGC Cook Out!

Filipinos have an explicit love affair with seafood. Which is not unlikely, given that we live on a collection of islands surrounded by deep, rich waters that offer up their bounty all year round.

BGC Arts Center Festival: Revealing Facet Of MOdern Filipino Performance Artistry

Firing off a passionate start for 2017, the BGC Arts Center will celebrate its identity as the home of the Filipino artist. 

True to its word, it will launch a 2-day Arts Festival on January 14-15, hosting performances and events that will illuminate the many layers that modern Filipino artists are animating to give voice to the range of the human condition. The BGC Arts Center is the centerpiece of BGC’s Cultural District. A project of the non-profit, Bonifacio Art Foundation, Inc.,  it is the first and only stand-alone theater established through private donations. 

It is dedicated to providing a cultural and educational experience that will inspire the public to explore their creative side and embrace Filipino artistry.  A collaboration by award-winning architects and designers,  the BGC Arts Center is composed of the Maybank Performing Arts Theater, the Alveo Central Plaza, and the Sun Life Amphitheater.

Uptown Cinemas Hosted The Premiere Night Of "London Has Fallen"

The best cinemas in town just opened with Megaworld Lifestyle Malls opening Uptown Cinemas at Uptown mall in BGC. And to bring flare to its opening, they hosted the VIP premiere night of "London Has Fallen".

The exclusive screening was held at the Cinema 1, one of the Dolby Atmos theaters in Uptown Mall that is guaranteed to put the viewer in a immerse sound environment. The seats are really comfortable with the right size and angle from any seat along with he great sound makes movies exciting.

In Olympus Has Fallen, Gerald Butler plays a presidential guard who protects the American President and the other heads of state from a terrorist attack within  the White House. in London Has Fallen, the action is set in the British Capital and promises o deliver the same edge-of-your-seat action as it predecessor.

Sarah Jessica Parker arrived in Manila at exactly 6:45pm last night. She was a surprisingly simple and down-to-earth, she even lined up at immigration herself! 

She as quickly whisked away and slipped into her limo but as soon as she got to the hotel, she took time to saying Hi to everyone and even stopped to admire the musicians playing at the hotel. As soon as the quartet was done with their rendition of "New York, New York", she applauded the quartet and exclaimed "Wonderful".

Parker, who played Carrie Bradshaw on the HBO television series Sex and the City (1998-2004), has won four Golden Globe Awards, three Screen Actors Guild Awards, and two Emmy Awards. She served as a producer and reprised her role in the screen adaptation of the hit series with the theatrical release of Sex and the City and Sex and the City 2.

Her Carrie character –who has been described as someone who lives for fashion - as well as her own incredible personal style make Parker the perfect guest for the store opening, which Manila’s stylish set is looking forward to.

MUSIC LYF: Tunog Natin! OPM concert series holds third leg at Market! Market!

AFTER the tremendous success of its first two concerts, “Tunog Natin! An OPM Concert Series” is back with yet another free musical gathering at Market! Market! in Bonifacio Global City (BGC) on October 21.

“Tunog Natin!” is a campaign that aims to revive the Filipinos’ interest for local artists and their records. The third leg of the concert coincides with the launch of Avida Land Corp.’s Avida CityFlex Towers BGC and Avida Towers 34th Street BGC.
