Tanghalang Pilipino has assembled some of the most revered names in the arts industry for its fantastic, highly-entertaining staging of “Pangarap Sa Isang Gabi Ng Gitnang Tag-Araw,” an adaptation of William Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” The list of heavyweights include famed film director Carlitos Siguion-Reyna at the helm of this staging, respected film actress Jackielou Blanco playing the role of Amazon Queen Hipolita, and King of Philippine Musical Theater Audie Gemora as fairy king Oberon.
The said production, which will run until October 16 at the Tanghalang Huseng Batute of the Cultural Center of the Philippines, also boasts of the translation of National Artist for Literature and Theater Rolando Tinio.
