Kapuso Soul Princess Jonalyn Viray is all set for her major concert abroad happening on Thursday, October 11, at the India Social and Cultural Center in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The powerful belter, who is a mainstay in the Sunday musical variety show on GMA-7 “Party Pilipinas,” says she is very excited to visit the city for the first time and perform in front of fellow Filipinos working there.

Jonalyn sets both of her hands on everything that concerns her concert.  In fact, she is very much involved not only in preparing the lineup of songs but also in the arrangement of the music and the overall production of the show.

MUSIC LYF: Jessa Zaragoza - Pag Wala Na Ang Ulan (album)

Bakit Pa?

Siya Ba Ang Dahilan?

Sounds familiar? As a kid who grew up in the 90's I do appreicate the OPM artists in the turn of the new Millennium. And one of my most admired singers of that  time (and up to now) is Jessa Zaragoza. She is back with a new album PAG WALA NA ANG ULAN under GMA Records. She still looks young and sexy even after all these years, and still has a powerful and soothing voice that will captivate our hearts.

For this album she also collaborated with the soulful Kris Lawrence for the song "Napatawad Na Kita". She said that they chose him because he is great with R&B which is a creates a perfect harmony for the theme.

MUSIC LYF: Thank You Withney Houston

I just woke up with a bad  news that music icon Whitney Houston was found dead in a Beverly Hills Hotel. The source of her death is still unknown but definitely it shook the music world and her fans. I too was indeed sad on her passing as I loved her songs like I Will Always Love You, When You Believe, I Wanna Dance WIth Somebody, and my favorite When You Believe.

Indeed we were touched by her songs in one way or the other, this what makes a artists leave their permanence which we will greatly remember even if they do have issues on their own. Whitney has faced a downfall with her lifestyle and unfortunately with her return to the music scene has turned into a sad tragedy.
