Love looks beyond flaws in the upcoming ABS-CBN series “Init sa Magdamag”

People have their flaws, but can love make things right? Gerald Anderson, JM De Guzman, and Yam Concepcion present yet another look in love in the upcoming series “Init sa Magdamag,” which will be seen outside the Philippines on TFC via cable, satellite, and IPTV starting April 19, while the pilot episode can be seen in advance via iWantTFC on April 17.

“Init sa Magdamag” starts with the young love between Tupe (Gerald) and Rita (Yam) whose story is cut short because of a circumstance that leaves Tupe to choose between protecting the woman she loves or his responsibility to his family.

As Rita moves forward, she meets Peterson (JM) who finds a reason to be a better man because of her. Yet they will be tested early on in their relationship, which is the same time when Tupe finds his way back into Rita’s world.

The new series comes after Gerald’s moving portrayal in the series “A Soldier’s Heart,” JM’s relatable character in “Pamilya Ko,” and Yam’s hated antagonist character in the series “Love Thy Woman.”

REEL DEAL: Always Be My Maybe REVIEW

Star Cinema has always have that Valentine's Day movie that will be romantic yet quite different in theme, and this year they made a fresh new change with Aways Be My Maybe with Gerald Anderson and Arci Muñoz.

It maybe a new team up for Gerald and Arci but the movie has shown great chemistry and also potential future movies together. Arci may have started as a Kapuso, then Kapatid, until eventually now part of the Kapamilya network with shows like Passion De Amor and MMK, she is indeed bringing sexy back into our screens. Gerald, now much more mature with his roles and acting, has mastered to bring kilig to the audience whoever he would be paired with.

Together with engaging characters like Cacai, Ricci, and Jane Oineza to name a few, it can be classified as a Sexy Romantic Comedy, and they succeeded without exaggerating things. Directed by Dan Villegas, his works include "#WalangForever", "The Break Up Playlist", and "English Only, Please", showed consistency and quality of his work.

“ON THE JOB” Hits Philippine TV This Sunday On Cinema One

The Philippines’ number one movie channel and top cable channel, Cinema One, will be the first to premiere the award-winning crime thriller “On The Job,” happening this Sunday (June 29) during the channel’s Blockbuster Sundays movie block at 8:00pm.

“On The Job,” which was directed by Erik Matti, stars Piolo Pascual, Gerald Anderson, Joel Torre, Joey Marquez, Angel Aquino, Shaina Magdayao, Empress, Leo Martinez, Michael de Mesa, Vivian Velez, and Rayver Cruz in some of their grittiest roles to date.

This stellar cast plays out the story of four men struggling to survive and to make a living for themselves and their loved ones. Two of these four are former prison inmates who are hired as contract killers. One of which is Mario (Joel Torre), otherwise known as “Tatang”. He intends to finally go straight when he is granted his parole. The other is Daniel (Gerald Anderson), a younger inmate and Mario’s apprentice, who is set to replace him as the top hired killer. Their story finds itself interlaced with that of two law enforcers and investigators, Joaquin (Joey Marquez) and Francis (Piolo Pascual), who are tangled in a moral conflict. As the story plays out, the stakes climb—and these two groups, trapped somewhere close to the fine line between good and evil, inevitably collide.
