Celebrities join forces for “Songs of Hope” online concert series to support World Vision’s COVID-19 Emergency Response

World Vision Ambassadors Ogie Alcasid, Christian Bautista, Quest, Joyce Pring, Iñigo Pascual, Tippy Dos Santos, and the Perkins Twins with supporters Sitti Navarro, Janina Vela, and Pastor Rommel and Susan Guevara shared their talents for “Songs of Hope” online concert series that aims to increase awareness and support for World Vision’s COVID-19 Emergency Response. 

As a Christian non-profit organization, World Vision encourages everyone to remain “joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer” (Romans 12:12) in the mist of these difficult times. Through “Songs of Hope”, the organization aims to contribute in keeping the hope alive through inspiring music and positive content from its celebrity ambassadors and friends.

Iñigo Pascual Teams Up With YouTuber Wengie For The Song "Mr. Nice Guy."


This is an exciting time for Iñigo Pascual as he soars in his career in showbiz, particularly in music since he made several hits with his songs. Now he elevates his craft by going international with a special collaboration with Australia's most popular YouTuber, Wengie, for a new single entitled "Mr. Nice Guy." 


The song will be part of his upcoming album which will be under ABS-CBN Music International. A bold statement of the record label to go global with local talents now ready for a bigger stage and also an opportunity for them to work with big international stars.

Wengie is a Chinese Australian lifestyle vlogger-singer, who currently has 13 million subscribers on her main, self-titled YouTube channel. She also has several other channels, including Wengie Music, featuring her own hit singles like "Oh I Do," "De Ja Vu," and Cake.

Vivo creates “treasured moments” with elderly this season of giving

Global smartphone brand Vivo has played Santa ahead of Christmas as it created treasured moments to the elderly at the God’s Grace Home Care Center (GGHCC) in Quezon City on November 24, 2018. 

GGHCC serves as a home to the elderly, the disabled, and other patients who need palliative care. With this in mind, Vivo as represented by its 24 employees brought cash donation, brand new wheelchairs, commodes, adult diapers, slippers, pillows, and personal hygiene kits for the GGHCC. At least 40 older adults from the GGHCC participated in Vivo’s visit. 

Pascual, DJ Moophs Have a Summer Hit On Their Hands with “OMW”

Spring may have officially started in the U.S. though it still feels like winter in most places.  But with the latest collab track dropped by Billboard Philippines Top 20 chart-topper Inigo Pascual and DJ and music producer Chris Lopez a.k.a. Moophs, expect the duo to fan the flames of summer heat from the Philippines and bring it to American shores with their new single, “OMW (On My Way)”.

I just can't believe that Ogie Alcasid is turning 50 (as I also turn 30 as well) this year. The Singer-songwriter has been in showbiz with so many milestones. Being one of the icons of OPM, he continues to make music, 

He recently launched Nakakalokal which is new album under Star Music. He also continues to shape the Filipino Music Industry by being part of contests like Tawag ng Tanghalan and You Face Sounds Familliar Kids. He is currently the President of OPM (Organisasyon ng Pilipinong Mang-Aawit) and Commissioner of the Edsa People Power Commission.


For his upcoming birthday concert dubbed NakakaLokal!” will celebrate his 50th birthday as well as World Vision's 60th anniversary which is quite an coincidence.  Happening on August 25, 2017 at the KIA Theatre, the awaited musical event will also feature a star-studded line-up including  Angeline Quinto, Basti Artadi, Davey Langit, Erik Santos, Iñigo Pascual, Jaya, Kyla, Lara Maigue, Leila Alcasid, Lovi Poe, Men and Music, Solenn Heussaff, and Yeng Constantino.
