Eugene Domingo goes into another challenging role with the latest movie from Jun Lana, Barber's Tales (Mga Kwentong Barbero) which after winning awards abroad will finally be shown here in the Philippines on August 2014. What is special about this film? Well there is indeed a long list of reasons which have earned the recognition of world.The movie has participated in international film festivals namely 2013 Tokyo International Film Festival, 2013 Abu Dhabi Film Festival, 2014 Hong Kong International Film Festival, 2014 Undine Far East International Film Festival, and the 2014 Madrid International Film Festival. It also garnerd awards like 2013 Hong Kong Asia Film Financing Forum Best HAF Project, ARRI Award, Technicolor Award, Catapoolt Award, and 2014 Undine International Film Festival Audience Choice Crystal Mulberry Prize, and 2014 Madrid International Film Festival Nominations for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Producer and Best Actress. Eugene also won Best Actress for the 2013 Tokyo International Film Festival.
