Karylle Launches Cute and Fun ILoveYa Music Video

Karylle continues to make lovable tunes with the launch of her latest single ILoveYa which was released digitally last week. And with that, a music video is also anticipated to be released afterwards. The single is also exciting to fans since the last album she launched was back in 2016 for "Different Playground". 

True to her style, Karylle launches the music video of ILoveYa with a exclusive event helad athe the Upperhouse at the Brewery BGC with friends, family, and fans last August 3. The intimate yet music-filled event was also joined by musical acts that kept the event fun and engaged. Performing on that night were DJ Abdel Aziz, Joed Balsamo, Spongecola,  Brisom, Karylle and the Passport Holders Feat. Anna Achacoso, Eugene Cailao, and Pipo Lina.

MUSIC LYF: Karylle scores gold for ‘K’

Singer-actress-TV host Karylle received a Gold Record Award for her latest album “K” yesterday, December 4, during the live episode of “It’s Showtime.” PolyEast Records’ Managing Director Jesmon Chua presented the award.

The album includes the hit singles “Sa ‘Yo Na Lang Ako,” “Kiss You,” “Kapiling Kita,” among others.

“K” celebrates a number of firsts for Karylle – joining a contest and collaborating with a cousin-rapper.

“I’ve never ever joined a contest before, but it was worth it because I got to sing a beautiful song – Lara Maigue’s ‘Sa ‘yo Na Lang Ako,’ which everyone loves,” expresses K. “I am also thrilled big time that I got to collaborate with one of my favorite rappers – my cousin Dash Calzado.”

The singer-actress also thanks Kiko Salazar for turning an unfinished “Kiss You” to complete song, and for contributing “Kapiling Kita.” 

Karylle adds, “This album is extra special because of a million reasons. It was a reunion with my first two producers Ito Rapadas, who produced ‘Sa’Yo Nalang Ako’ and DJ MOD, who remixed ‘Bad Boys.’”

MUSIC LYF: Gloc9, Karylle, 1:43 top bill BellaVita free concerts

Socialized housing development BellaVita Land Corp. will hold a free concert series dubbed as “Ang Saya-Saya Sa BellaVita” featuring popular and emerging Original Pilipino Music (OPM) artists and radio jocks including Gloc-9, Karylle, and boy band 1:43 in Lipa City and San Pablo City this November.

The first concert to be led by award-winning Filipino rapper Gloc9 will be held at the Plaza Independencia in Lipa City on November 29 at 6 p.m., while the second concert with "It’s Showtime" (ABS-CBN) host Karylle will be held on November 30 at SM City San Pablo at 3 p.m.

Karylle on what makes her confident

Just less than seven months after tying the knot to SpongeCola vocalist Yael Yuzon, singer-actress and theatre performer Karylle Tatlonghari is doing a great job juggling her roles as a celebrity and as a wife. Despite her busy schedule, Karylle always makes sure that her body is at its best, especially her mouth.

Having a dentist as her father, the “It’s Showtime” host learned the importance of oral hygiene at a very young age, sharing that it’s one of the things that her father instilled in her while growing up.

“A lot of people don’t regularly go to the dentist so he’s always reminding me on my ‘things to do’ para [hindi ako magsisi] in the long run,” she says. Now that she’s all grown-up, Karylle is still faithful to what her father taught her about oral health.

These days, Karylle dabbles into almost everything – singing, hosting, acting, writing, musical theater, songwriting.

She is seen on TV almost everyday hosting the ABS-CBN noontime show “It’s Showtime.” She is also currently promoting her newest album “K,” under PolyEast Records.

She also makes sure that she performs onstage every now and then, Just last weekend, Karylle was one of the performers of the 45th anniversary show of the Cultural Center of the Phillippines “Musikal,” a historic coming together of more than 200 local theater performers in the country. She reprised her Sita role from last year’s “Rama Hari” revival.
