Keira Knightley Falls For The Enemy in "The Aftermath"

Keira Knightley, one of today’s most respected actors and known for her award-winning role in “Pride and Prejudice” who also starred in acclaimed films “Imitation Game,” “Atonement” and “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise, delivers once again a finely calibrated portrayal in the thrilling romantic drama “The Aftermath” with Jason Clarke and Alexander Skarsgård. 

Based on an untold moment in history, “The Aftermath” is set in postwar Germany in 1946. Rachael Morgan (Keira Knightley) arrives in the ruins of Hamburg during the bitter winter, to be reunited with her husband Lewis (Jason Clarke), a British colonel charged with rebuilding the shattered city. Filming Begins on Ensemble Drama "Collateral Beauty" with All-Star Cast‏

Principal photography has begun on New Line Cinema’s and Village Roadshow Pictures’ thought-provoking drama “Collateral Beauty,” being helmed by Oscar-winning director David Frankel (“Dear Diary,” “The Devil Wears Prada”).

“Collateral Beauty” features an all-star cast, including Will Smith (upcoming “Suicide Squad”), Edward Norton (“Birdman”), Keira Knightley (“The Imitation Game”), Michael Peña (“The Martian”), Naomie Harris (“Spectre”), and Jacob Latimore (“The Maze Runner”), with Oscar winners Kate Winslet (“The Reader”) and Helen Mirren (“The Queen”).

"Everest" Chosen as Opening Film of 72nd Venice Film Festival‏

Universal Pictures’ epic adventure “Everest,” directed by Baltasar Kormákur, has been selected as the opening film, out of competition, of the 72nd Venice Film Festival (September 2nd – 12th 2015).

The world premiere of “Everest” will be screened on September 2 in the Sala Grande theatre (Palazzo del Cinema) at the Lido. Inspired by the incredible events surrounding an attempt to reach the summit of the world’s highest mountain, “Everest” documents the awe-inspiring journey of two different expeditions challenged beyond their limits by one of the fiercest snowstorms ever encountered by mankind. Their mettle tested by the harshest elements found on the planet, the climbers will face nearly impossible obstacles as a lifelong obsession becomes a breathtaking struggle for survival.

“Opening the Venice film festival has proven to be good luck for the awards race, with the last two openers, `Gravity' and `Birdman,' netting a slew of nominations and some major wins,” says UK newspaper The Guardian. “Baltasar Kormakur’s survival thriller `Everest' will be keen to follow,“ adds The Guardian's review, predicting the film might pick up nominations for best picture, director and supporting actor.

Now with a new incarnation of the iconic character Jack Ryan, Chris Pine takes his shoes and goes on with this new film "Jack Ryan Shadow Recruit".

The role which was been played by actors Alec Balwin, Ben Affleck and Harrison Ford. This maybe considered as a reboot to the franchise and with Pine now the new Jack, brings a whole new trill into the new film which was also dedicated in memory of the late author.

Being a CIA Analyst, Jack Ryan stumbles upon questionable accounts that would lead him to fly off to Russia for a special investigation. With treats around  him ans his loved one, he becomes part of the very complex and well-planned conspiracy that will cause international turmoil.

Shadow Recruit has so far gave a thrilling ride of emotions and critical thinking that gives a lot of suspense. The start might be a little mixed with thrill and boredom, but the excited shoots up when the action starts and then everything goes on a roller coaster as the conflict rises.
