This Earth Day, learn to protect our planet and live more sustainably by purchasing products from Shopee's Shop Green sale

While not a major contributor to the global climate crisis, the Philippines is still part of the top 25% of low and middle income countries that produce significant greenhouse gas emissions. With Earth Day right around the corner—and carbon dioxide levels hitting an all-time high—it’s time to make a change.

Though there are larger entities that create a wider-scale impact, that doesn’t mean you can’t do your part to help curb the damage! The planet still needs a global solution in order to significantly reduce carbon emissions, but there are things that you can do on your own to lessen your ecological footprint.

70% water, 100% life: The Nat Geo Earth Day Run 2013

Our bodies and the earth share one of the most important things that sustain life – water. With both composed of 70% water, humans and the earth share an interest in respectively strengthening our bodies and in being conserved, long enough for future generations to enjoy healthy bodies and a healthy world.

Water is a critical component in ensuring that our bodies are not only hydrated, but also that all essential nutrients are properly circulated throughout our system. As we grow older, we have less water in our bodies; the same thing happens when we become less fit and more fat. One of the easiest ways to stay healthy is to run – not only does it improve circulation, weight loss, and oxygen flow, it also lessens stress. Since running is a strenous activity, it’s important to keep yourself hydrated with the bottled water that empowers you to reach for it – Summit Natural Drinking Water.

Happy GOOD EARTH FRIDAY!

Happy Good Earth Friday!

Its also Good Friday, a day of reflection on how Jesus Christ showed his love for all by offering himself on the cross even though we have sinned. This day also tells us that our Mother Earth has also cared for us providing with all that we need in life, but in return, we pollute and destroy her wonders. The message: we must repent our wicked ways and rebuild ourselves into what we are called for, stewards of nature and to be a holy and righteous people.

My two cents for this day.
Reflect.
Renew.
