Free Admission To 11th Gawad Buhay Awards On May 28

The 11th Philstage Gawad Buhay Awards is all set on May 28, Tuesday at 8 p.m. at Onstage Theater, Greenbelt 1, Makati City.

It will be open to the public on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The awards show, with the theme “Generations,” will be hosted by Carlo Orosa and Kakai Bautista, and will feature an original song aptly titled “Buhay na Buhay,” jointly composed by veteran writer-director Freddie Santos and musical director Ejay Yatco.

Philstage President Audie Gemora, who is directing the event, says, “The dream of the founding members of Philstage companies — the likes of Zeneida Amador—was to build 
a thriving performing arts industry. That dream is now a reality, with several theater companies having been established in the last decade. Workshops are teeming with youngsters while theaters in the campuses are vibrant. 

American Eye Center gifts OFW heroes with a yuletide privilege

Campaign to Uplift Sulu’s Education and Livelihood Launched

One with Sulu, the campaign to uplift the state of education and livelihood in Sulu, was recently launched to the public, with an exhibit and a documentary screening at Greenbelt 3, Ayala Center, Makati City.

One with Sulu was borne out of the partnership between Klasrums ng Pag-Asa, the Philippine Marine Corps,and the Tausug community, supported by private sector volunteers and like-minded non-profit organizations and movements such as Ayala Foundation, Ayala Malls, Bayanihang Pampaaralan, Beam Toothpaste, Black Pencil Project, Deecon Builders, Globe Telecom, Fisherfarms, Feedmix, Foster Foods, Inc., FunGames, Juan Portrait, La Filipina, Matawkasi, Mindanao Grains Processing Co., Inc., Nautilus Divers, Philippine Marine Corps, PowerMac Center, Premier Cement, Pride Laundry Detergent, Sultanate of Patikul, Sulu Photograpeace, TEN Moves, Tibuuk Lupah Sug Network, and WeLovePost.

A Gan Tea Opens Its First Store in the Philippines!

The Tea drinking culture is invading the Philippines as many people are going with the tea trend, particularly Milk Teas. Filipinos can  now taste authentic Taiwanese tea experience with the launch of the newest tea cafe in town, A-GANTEA TEA CAFÉYour Lifestyle Tea Cafe.  It opened it first store here in the Philippines at Greenbelt 2.


A-Gantea Tea Café, Your Lifestyle Tea Café is conceptualized by the company for the everyone to experience a young and trendy ambiance with free wifi. I was there at the launch and tasted their drinks which I can say is a great balance of fun and sweet.


The Launch

The opening of A Gan Tea in Greenbelt was explosive and star-studded with its store integrated with Qoola which serves Frozen Yogurts. The launch was attended by two of the hottest sports team today, The Philippine Azkals and The Philippine Volcanoes. Also there was also the Youtube Sensation Couple, JAMICH which started the program with an entertaining number. The event was hosted by Grace Lee and co-hosted by the couple.
To spice up the night, there were also fun and games with the audience with the special participation of the Azkals and Volcanoes. The night was capped of with a ceremonial tea toast with the Chairman, Mr. Vincent Ho. After the event, the store got jam-packed with customers and the celebrities who went to have another tall tea drink.

EVENTOLOGY: A-Gan Tea Launch at Greenbelt

Tea lovers would definitely love this event for the launch of a new tea shop in town, A-Gantea! They serve a variety of teas like Milk Teas and Fruit Teas in many varieties and flavors!

Originated from its brand spirits, pure tea, A-gantea persists in brewing with cherry-picked leaves from a tea plantation in an elevation of 1200 meter in Taiwan’s Ali Mountain. The word A-gan in Chinese means sweet and refreshing aftertaste, which is what our A-Gan Green Tea is famous for. Their store is located at the Greenbelt 2 Park, Ayala Center, Makati beside National Bookstore.
