the return of the comeback of Blah Blah Blogs! May Days 2009

Ok, first things first, its good to be back to blogging! Yey! medyo matagal nga nung nakasulat ako para sa blah blah blogs matapos ang maraming pangyayari sa buhay ko. Well, bad things first, kakaresign ko lang mula sa aking call center work, HOWEVER I am enjoying the priviledge of doing more time blogging and also focusing on my current works. Sa ngayon kasi full blast na ang KRISIS! KOMIX na sa ngayon ay webcomics pa lang. HOWEVER na naman, nakilala ko ang mga komik creators at publishers sa kakatapos na komikon summer fiesta sa UP bahay ng alumni. At dun lalo akong napahanga at na-inspire maging isang comic strip artist. Dumadami na rin ang aking network ng friendships by 30% (computed yan!). And kahit papano ay nakakalabas ako ng bahay upang gawin ang aking volunteer work. Hopefully din makabalik ako sa pag-aaral at matapos na yung kurso na magbabago ng mundo (plano kong sakupin ang daigdig ng may degree). HOWEVER again, syempre limited na ang aking kaperahan dahil sa wala na nga akong trabaho at naghahanap pa.
Sana sa mga darating na araw ay magbunga na ang aking mga plano sa buhay ( ang drama noh?) dahil syempre gusto naman natin na maging masaya at makulit ang buhay para hindi boring. Sabi nga sa commercial, ano man ang nais mo abutin mo para maabot mo ang Happiness, tama naman di ba? At lalo na sa mga bagong kong frienships and networks makakaya nga ito. Ito rin kaya ang dahilan kung bakit KRISIS! ang pangalan ng komiks ko. Lahat naman kasi tayo may ganung mararanasan, at malalagpasan natin ito (naks!)
Haay, krisis pa nga ako kaya ganito ang mga nasasabi ko... HOWeh....ok basta dahil nagbalik na ang matinding balitaan at ka-chorvahan lets party! Oo nga pala sana dalaw din kayo sa krisis! komix para makibalita at makigulo sa iba't ibang mukha ng buhay ko. At syempre add niyo na rin ako sa multiply at friendster o facebook niyo.
At nais ko lang isingit ang pasasalamat sa mga taong ito na nakatulong sa akin sa paggawa ng mga unang edisyon ng komiks ko maging sa pagsusulat ko sa internet. Sina Kuya Julius Villanueva, LiP forum mates, Hazel Manzano Chua, Adrian Fuentes at iba pa...

Please don't get me wrong with this one. I know I have to share something about these two days. I have not gone somewhere on Monday, but we went to mount Samat on Tuesday. To tell you the truth, I have not felt special on these days but I still have something that I could share for reflection. And since I still use this days for my holy vacation. Holy Monday was a time to reflect before I do many things again. I was still troubled with a lot of things that is currently happening in my life. Also I would like to mention that I feel that I must enter a lot of contest. Am I just too anxious? or too pressured to do things that I really dont need to do. God gave me this time to just take time for myself and reflect, but what do I do, worry more. I should have read scriptures to help me reflect.
Actually, on the early morning of Monday, while still online and ding several things, I managed to listen to taize song and podcast. Taize was my favorite style of doing prayer. Actually, I dont consider it as a style but a habit, however I was lost when things get too busy for me. I realized that even with all these problems troubling me, I realized that I am so very blessed. With material, physical and spiritual things. So why do feel unhappy. I think, my mission still needs to be given more time . At the end of the day, I played with the PSP just to make me drowsy. Now looking at another day, as a new ground for another reflection.
Tuesday started early for me since we need to arrive early to mount Samat for the Araw ng Kagitingan celebration. It was my first time there, but I got a feeling of de ja vu when we arrived. I havent appreciated veterans much even if both of my grandfathers are both veterans of the world war II. However, to be in a mountain with a titanic cross reminds me of the sacrifice of jesus at jerusalem. Indeed I felt I was on holy ground. Also even with a program by politicians, and diplomats, I never felt bored. I even find the message of Kristy Kenny, ambassador for the US, inspiring. She said that It was good that the celebration falls on a holy week, because we would remember the sacrifices that they made for us to reach what we are today. That Sacrifice is a sign of love and it will surely bring forth a positive outcome. And after the event, not only did I took some pictures, but also the sence of appreciation on what sacrifice is, with the realization of the things that the veterans did back then, so now I can proudly say that I am came from the lineage of heroes.

Today , April 5, 2009 , is actually a jam-packed day. There were a lot of events that happened on this day in which, I haven't attended one of them. Last Friday after I was invited to see a movie at Gateway, they also gave me an invite to go to the Fort for the Fast and Furious show , however I got up late with no choice to attend the two other events I have planned on that day; Palm Sunday and the Ozine fest '09 at the megamall. Since I love to attend mass at the megamall (the Chapel of the Eucharistic Lord), it was also a good chance to attend the cosplay event just a few steps away. Of course, I have to attend mass first, especially its holy week. I have planned this week for months so I could really concentrate on doing reflections and blog them. And there are still a lot of hindances along the way, we cant escape that, but we could do something about that.
I was pleased by the homily of the priest for the Gospel, in which he specified "God will do something, even if we remain silent". Meaning, kahit hindi man natin ipahayag sa salita ang ating nais, alam na ng Diyos ang gagawin. Nang pumasok siya ng Jerusalem, alam na niya ang sasapitin niya, at hinarap niya ito ng buong tapang. Sana din daw ay magsilbing hamon sa atin ito upang nagkaroon ng kabuluhan ang ating buhay. Pinaalala pa nito ang kahalagahan ng pagsisikap at sakripisyo, na tulad ni Jesus ay naging tapat at kinaya ang lahat upang bigyan ang mundo ng pagkakataon ng kapatawaran at kaligtasan.
Natapos ang misa ng marami akong baon para pag-isipan, totoo nga ang sabi ni father.

Sa kabilang banda, kahit medyo fresh pa ako sa simbahan, bumalik ako sa cosplay. Natuwa naman ako dahil kahit sa loob may mga nagdala ng palaspas, pero syempre para sa hindi nakacostume. Na kahit may ganitong event hindi nila nakalimutan ang kahalagahan ng araw na ito. Ngayon, tungkol na sa tunay na sitwasyon ko sa cosplay ay tila isang wandering ghost na wala nang ibang kaibigan kundi ang dalawang ka-opisina na napadaan din. Mas kaunti lang ang cosplayers ngayon, wala namang pasok at sabi nila National Cosplay daw ito, kaya inexpect ko na super siksikan, pero hindi naman. Marami pa naman ang mga tao, tila bitin nga lang. Hindi ko lang kung bakit. Sa katapusan ng araw(o gabi) sa cosplay, talagang naghintay ako baka nabunot ang pangalan ko sa raffle. Well, asa naman ako, malay natin. Sa kabuuan, na-inspire na naman ako sa pagmamahal ko sa drawing, anime at japanese culture. Pero sa ngayon mas mahalaga ang pag-tingin sa sarili upang tayo ay bigyan ng inspirasyon upang maabot ang mga pangarap natin.

Kung papipiliin ako, Palaspas ako, hindi lang naman ito sanga, ito daw ay commitment upang maging luwalhatiin ang diyos sa paraan. At eto yun.

Bukas ay Lunes Santo at magpapatuloy ang ating paguusap ng iba't ibang bagay ngayong kuaresna. Kaya tumutok lang.

after a year and a half, Blah Blah Blog return where it started...

Blah Blah Blogs will be posted on the blogspot but will be echoed on multiply. But this does not mean there will no post in multiply. Sabi ko nga, i-eecho ko dito kaya dont fret citizens! Huwag mag-panic! Huwag mag... mag...simula ng rebulusyon ( malay natin, baka magyari pero sa ngayon asa ako). And for today's episode, bawi-bawi muna ako sa mga araw na hindi ako naka-blog dahil sa pagiging abala ko sa KRISIS! Komix (insert image here). At tinamaan kaya ako ng e-bola recon salmonela, at hayun, tinamad ako. HOWEVER, since we left so mant things in this past days, we have a lot in store for today. Earth Hour, Krisis! Komix, Free movie plus a wonderful night with people in different media.

Last March 28, millions of people in the world observed EARTH HOUR. An hour of helping mother earth by doing a gesture to save energy by simply switching off the light or any appliance that is not is use. And actually we filipinos made a big contribution to this event, since there were a lot of cities and communities that participated for this cause ( we also participated, even it was just for fun, we actually helped a lot if you look at it in a bigger scale). This day was also important for me since this was also the debut of my comic. KRISIS! Komix. And even it was just a one-hour event, its actually cool and fun, and feels like camping (oops be careful with those candles!) So, the event is over, but what do you do now, wait another year? Be practical people, Its really cool to save energy. Saves you money in bills, and makes you a contributor (no matter if you just turned off one switch or a city) in saving our only earth.

Konek naman sa earth hour ay ang KRISIS! KOMIX na ang current comics na ginagawa ko habang avail. Well, it was actually my dream to have one, and here it is...Kung napansin niyo ito site at nabasa niyo na ang ilan sa mga strips, well I hope more people will be able to see it and make comments. Alam kong marami kayong masisita dito, yung pagka-edit, dialouge at yung quality, pero I hope in the next issues to come ay mayroon big changes, hopefully mapublish ito sa kahit anong print media (siguro it would take some time kasi marami pa comics ang dapat kong i handa if ever). Also there are also I wish to clarify about KRISIS! Ang pagkakilala sa kanya ngayon is komix, which I believe is a nice way to categorize new pinoy comics, so far ang kikomachine komix (asteeg!), ang orig na nagsimula nito. At kaya ang pangngalan nito ay Krisis dahil nabuo ang concept niya nung nagsimula ang Global Financial Crisis. Well, wish me luck guys, and hope you would meet all the characters in these komix.

Yesterday I won tickets to see The Fast and the Furious at the Globe Platinum Cinema at Gateway. It was amazing since I just responded to a contest posted by the BNO boys. I was entitled a pair of tickets, unfortunately, I went alone. Well, actually when I got there, the tickets were given by Mojo Jojo himself! Sweet! I really liked Mojo for his personality. Also I've made friends with media people and other bloggers. And the movie was a blast! check out my review about that. I really enjoyed the movie especially your in that special cinema (ooh the feel of the LAZYBOY still lingers...the popcorn...the drinks...). And the night doesn't there, we also ate dinner at Rasa, and there I was able to talk with my fellow movie goers. Also with us was JINKY ODA, the endorser of GLUTAMAX. She was very nice, and also gave me some samples. And if you would notice, she is the only endorser I know that has proven the results. I saw her a long time before and absolutely her skin was whiter (while the other brands got endorsers who were already white). So I would like to thank the people I met yesterday ( I apologize, I forgot some of your names, I am really bad with names :-P ) But I really had a wonderful time, I hope to see you on the next event!

Proud to be Brown Presents ...The Speaks!

The Speaks were in Manila but I missed the event. HOWEVER, I still love their songs!
And the great thing is their members are Filipino(well most of them)! Actually it was been a while since we heard from them, but their music has permanence! I can still feel shivers while listening to them. I haven't got their album, but hope I would have one soon. So be proud to be brown!
