Friend Zone ระวังสิ้นสุดทางเพื่อน - How Far Will You Go For Love?

Gross Domestic Happiness (GDH) is at it again. After the success of their previous films like Bad Genius, and Brother of the Year, they just launched a new movie last February called Friend Zone (ระวังสิ้นสุดทางเพื่อน) and will be showing in theaters in the Philippines April 10, 2019.

This brought together Thai stars Naphat Siangsomboon as Palm, and Pimchanok Luevisadpaibulas as Gink. Two childhood friends who have been close together but never as a couple. Gink found love with Ted (Jason Young) who partners with her in producing music across the region.

But this left poor Palm being a dependable friend but never as a boyfriend. But despite this, he keeps on supporting Gink in her obsession in making sure Ted is her life partner. The film also takes the audience into a tour of several cities of Southeast Asia and Hong Kong which is also fun to watch and also makes you want to travel more.

Pet Sematary - Another Good Stephen King Adaptation?

After the success of Stephen King's "It", it was expected that another work of his would me remade again for this generation. Pet Sematary was one of them and was announced soon after.  The original movie was launched in 1989 and it is just in time for the 30th anniversary for the new adaptation to the wicked story.

I have not seen the first film, and have not read the book, which makes this my first impression for this story. Though the story can be adjusted to the modern times, it is important to know what or who is the real evil here.

The story deals with the Creed family who moved from the city for the rural life to take it slow. But evil lurks everywhere in a Stephen King setting, one of kids Ellie found the Pet Sematary while lurking in the woods, she met Judd who knows the dark secrets of the "semetary" and beyond. To make the story short, someone will die, and they will come back to life in not a good way.

"Joker" Teaser Trailer Puts The Spotlight on Batman's Nemesis

Watch the teaser trailer for Warner Bros. Pictures’ “Joker,” starring Oscar nominee Joaquin Phoenix in the title role, alongside Oscar winner Robert De Niro, and directed, produced and co-written by Oscar nominee Todd Phillips.

Check out the trailer below and watch “Joker” in Philippine cinemas October 3.

“Joker” centers around the iconic arch nemesis and is an original, standalone story not seen before on the big screen.  Phillips’ exploration of Arthur Fleck (Phoenix), a man disregarded by society, is not only a gritty character study, but also a broader cautionary tale.
