That would be one of the most fustrating thing when I go to banks, however BPI Express Online provides a great alternative to that problem. They have now made the BPI BEA (BPI Express Assist) Online where you can plot a scheduled appointment to a BPI or BPI Family branch.
Its like reserving a seat in a concert or movie which avoids the long lines and also eliminates the need to fill up forms and putting account numbers. They actually had BEA as a queuing machine back in 2011 to provide a faster service in the branches. Now, they made BEA available online to account holders to make an appointment for either deposit and withdrawal and even other services (an probably more in the future).
This would be an interesting innovation which will work along with the branch BEA and now an online scheduler which will help people who do need more time to do things rather than waiting. I would love this service since I hate long queues and also spending time in the bank waiting will leaved me bored to death. But if things are quick and easy, I would have done more and never miss great moments with family, friends and co-workers. Kudos BPI for this wonderful innovation in Philippine banking!
The Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) launches another first in Philippine banking - the BPI Express Assist (BEA) Online. BEA Online is an online branch transaction appointment system built-in to BPI Express Online, the bank's online banking platform. This facility enables customers to choose a time-slot for their branch transactions, making branch banking faster and more convenient.
BEA Online is an off-shoot of the BPI Express Assist (BEA) terminals installed in the branches. BEA eliminates the need to fill-up paper forms since it now allows branch customers to input their branch transaction details into a touch-screen terminal instead. Upon submission, the transaction details are automatically transmitted to the tellers and customers are issued queue numbers. Rather than waiting in line, customers can just sit down and relax while waiting for their queue numbers to be called. This facility has effectively reduced the customers’ waiting time at the branch.
“Our clients had a better banking experience when we launched BEA last year. This time we are making it even easier for them as BEA goes online. BEA Online will enable our clients to reduce their waiting time at the branch, through the liberty of arriving there when their branch transaction would be fulfilled. We have brought forth this innovation in-line with the bank's objective of making transacting easy for our clients, while also improving the customer traffic flow at the branches,” shares Natividad Alejo, BPI Executive Vice President and Head of Consumer Banking Group.
