With the success of the soap opera “Mundo Mo’y Akin” where she plays the lead role of Marilyn, “Louise delos Reyes” has turned into a household name. The actress is beyond recognition in the TV series because she has to wear prosthetics to alter her features. During the live chat for her show, talk soon turned to her make-up routine that transformed her into Marilyn. “Bilib ako sa mga make-up artists kasi biruin mo, halos araw-araw nilang ginagawa yun tapos kailangan pareho yung itsura ko. Yung paglalagay ng prosthetics mabilis lang, ang mahirap at matagal yung paglalagay ng body make-up tapos kailangan pantay pati sa mga braso ko,” Louise explained.
A hot topic that follows the actress is her tandem with Alden Richards, the duo after all is one of the most-talked about love teams in local show business. “Okay naman kami ni Alden kasi magkaibigan talaga kami,” Louise shared. She related that working with her co-star has been a learning experience especially when they had to tape a paricular fight scene for the series. “Nag-alangan talaga ako kasi kailangan ko siyang sampalin, hindi ko talaga ugali na gawin yun sa ibang tao. Tapos madaling-araw na noon, pareho kaming puyat at pagod na.” She mustered up the guts to deliver the scene by chanelling her personal experiences. “Nag-focus na lang ako, inisip ko na lang na kailangan yun para effective yung eksena. Humugot na lang ako ng emosyon sa mga past frustrations ko,” she admitted.
Louise is a sought-after leading lady but she confided that she still dreams of being a lawyer. “Yun kasi talaga ang panagarap ko simula pa noong bata ako; hindi ko lang natuloy kasi dumating na yung trabaho at sobrang laking blessing nito para palampasin ko,” she said. Lou hasn’t given up entirely on her lawyer dreams, though as she plans to return to that path when the time comes. “Hindi rin naman natin masasabi kung talagang artista na ako habang buhay so kung mababawasan yung opportunities ko sa showbiz, babalik ako sa school talaga,” she relayed.
For now, the Kapuso artist has her days full with another Tv program, the musical-variety show “Sunday All Stars” where she is a member of “Ligang I Like”. The actress was all smiles as she talked about her team. “Masaya yung team nami kasi lahat talaga nagtutulungan, kapag may meeting kami nakakatuwa kasi nakikita ko na may kanya-kanya kaming notes na hinanda kung ano ang gusto naming isama sa production.” Her dedication to her group clearly left a mark on the show’s producers as Louise has been assigned as the new Team Leader.
