This is why PLDT has come up with ways to celebrate its anniversary with the public—because its milestones are also every Filipino’s milestones.
Just recently, the telecommunications corporation wrapped up its highly successful "Then and Now" promo where some of the latest Samsung gadgets were awarded in a weekly draw for four consecutive weeks. Yes, the latest Samsung Gadgets!What's more XSTIG? PLDT now has a new promo for its fans on Facebook to have that feeling of nostalgia and have the chance to win prizes with PLDT & Me that encourages everyone to upload a photo of themselves, their relatives, or their friends using a PLDT telephone unit. The photo can be from as long ago as 1928, the year PLDT was founded, all the way up to present day. Even the oldest selfies with PLDT phones to the TelPad units which integrates the modern day internet and landline into one unit.
Why is PLDT so keen on giving away such gadgets? Because these devices are among the different platforms that customers can enjoy with their PLDT subscription. PLDT’s Head of Public Affairs Ramon Isberto explains through this statement: “PLDT's move into multimedia services seeks to take advantage of its extensive and robust fixed and mobile platforms to deliver digital media content such as entertainment like music, photos and video through various devices including laptops, smartphones, tablets and smart TVs.”
This promo runs from September 30 to October 25 and can be joined by downloading the PLDT & Me app from the PLDT Home, PLDT SME Nation, or PLDT Public Affairs page on Facebook, or by going straight to http://apps.facebook.com/PLDTandMe.
Participants can upload their photos once they have registered and they will receive an email from PLDT within 24-48 hours to let them know if the photos submitted are valid.
Weekly e-raffles will be held beginning October 4, and all qualified participants will be eligible to win. This time, the prizes are even more exciting because each raffle winner will receive two Samsung gadgets—and there will be three winners every week.
