A special screening for the BA original documentary “Lost & Found” was held Thursday night at the TFC Studio. Representatives from local government, media, and the community saw the story of orphans from the Philippines being adopted by families from an unlikely community in the snow-covered mountains of Montana.
“Lost & Found” moved the audience. Esther Misa-Chavez of the Inquirer shared that “It’s touching. It’s a human story. For them (the children), the transition must have been difficult emotionally, physically. It was an eye-opener.”
A brief Q and A with the creators of the documentary followed the screening. BA correspondent Steve Angeles, who wrote and produced “Lost & Found” together with director/cameraman Jeremiah Ysip answered questions from those in attendance. BA’s resident legal expert Atty. Lou Tancinco provided insight into the legitimate and warranted processes pertaining to adoption, differentiating between adoption of a relative and inter-country adoption.

The encore presentation of “Lost & Found,” a BA Original Documentary is tomorrow, Saturday, March 17 at 4:25 P.M. on TFC.
