National Digital Arts Awards 2018 Opens New Categories For Digital Creativity

Since the first awards back in 2013, the National Digital Arts Awards (NDAA) has given opportunity for designers and graphic artists to be recognized and share their talents for everyone to see. And for many years, the number of winners and prizes has increased as more categories were added giving more opportunities for artists.

This year, NDAA 2018's theme is “Driven by Design. Fueled by Passion. EMPOWERING TODAY’S DIGITAL ARTIST.” Presented by digital signage and out-of-home advertising, Globaltronics Inc., they continue to aim  to raise the Filipino talent in digital design, and animation. 


Initially here are the categories:

• Digital Art in Print
• Character Design
• Animation / Motion Graphics

This year they will be adding three more categories:

• Best Digital Short Movie
• Best Website Design
• Best Drone Movie Experience

There will be categories for both students and professionals. With the student category now open all who are for 14 years old and above. That will be a total of 36 winners and over P3 Million in cash andprizes with individual prizes up to P200,000.

They hope that there will be more entries from the provinces as it aims to discover more talents that were untapped yet rich in creativity and charm. Entries can be submitted starting July 15, 2018. The nationwide search for exceptional digital arts talents will culminate in a day-long event that features a digital arts expo, talks from special guests, entertainment, and the much-awaited awarding ceremony.

• July-August 2018 - School and Industry Tours
• October 15, 2018 - Deadline of Entries 
• November 5-9, 2018 Judging of Entries 
• November 19, 2018 - Expo and Awards Night
