Since Rotary took on the fight against polio in 1985, we are now close to eradicating it with only four countries battling this disease Afghanistan, Pakistan, Nigeria and recently it emerged again in Papua New Guinea. Like polio in its early years, Rotary would also like to give attention to the rare diseases that go unnoticed in our country like Maple Urine Disease and Hunter's Disease by supporting the Philippine Society for Orphan Disorders (PSOD).

Together with Rotary International District 3780, let us embark on a ride to raise funds for these causes. Let us also celebrate Rotary's 100 years of transforming lives in the Philippines and World Polio day.

100 Years of Inspiring People is the brainchild of Rotary International District 3780 Governor Pastor "Mar" Reyes. We need to celebrate the gargantuan effort of Rotary to eradicate polio worldwide, which started in the Philippines, we also need to recognize that despite the 999% eradication, there is that elusive and difficult .01% job to be finished. Through these celebrations, we inspire Rotarians, communities and partners-in-service to remain resolute and focused in continuing our service to humanity in the next century,"
