Bumblebee - The Worthy Transformers Movie

Another hyped movie that opens ths January is a spin-off movie of the Transformers franchise with the lovable Bumblebee. Starring Hailee Steinfeld, John Cena, and Jorge Lendeberg Jr., theis new take on the Transformers was seen with a more positive outlook compared with the previous films.

Set in the 80s, Bumblebee comes in the golden age of the Transformers history with characters looking close to the original look. Though the aesthetics still has the modern touch, going back to the roots which made classic fans very happy.

Transforming into a Volkswagen Beetle is probably the many loved the film as it is the iconic vehicle Bumblebee transforms into. But you would also see the link why he changes to his modern verson, the Camaro. Unlike the Michael Bay films which are full of explosions, this one made a balance of a fun adventure wth just the right amount of metal and explosions. Though the story became lighter and a little formulaic, it was able to grasp the emotion of the audience with the chemistry of Bee and Charlie.

The film is not exclusive to fans of the Transformers universe, it's still a good movie for kids to watch and probably the best introduction to the franchise. And many have already rated this the best live-action Transformer film.

Bumblebee stars Hailee Steinfeld, John Cena, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., John Ortiz, Jason Drucker, and Pamela Adlon.  Directed by Travis Knight, now showing in cinemas.

Deliberation time kids!

Film summary: Charlie and Bee roll out!
