After BUM’s successful campaign on “Unleash Your RealiTee”, comes another unconventional attempt to provide an alternative inspiration for today’s youth in clothing—the Black Summer Collection. Contrary to the usual choice of hues for tropical summer setting—floral designs, neon or pastels are the most likely preference for getups. Continuing the global exploits in the unstoppable franchise built on speed, Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Dwayne Johnson lead the returning cast of “Fast & Furious 7.”

James Wan directs this chapter of the hugely successful series that also welcomes back favorites Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Elsa Pataky and Lucas Black. They are joined by international action stars new to the franchise including Jason Statham, Djimon Hounsou, Tony Jaa, Ronda Rousey and Kurt Russell.

Neal H. Moritz, Vin Diesel and Michael Fottrell return to produce the film written by Chris Morgan.

“Fast & Furious 7” opens across the Philippines on Black Saturday, April 04 and will be distributed by United International Pictures through Columbia Pictures.

DepEd reminds schools to keep grad rites simple

The Department of Education (DepEd) reiterated that graduation ceremonies in schools should be simple but meaningful and should promote civil rights, foster a sense of community, and encourage personal responsibilities.

Education Secretary Br. Armin Luistro FSC said, “While graduation rites mark a milestone in the life of the graduates, these should be conducted without excessive spending, extravagant attires, or extravagant venues.”

Set in a world where the dictatorship still reign and protesters were all killed, the children of the revolution acquired various superpowers which also shaped their own individual characters. Named after Filipino epic characters like Lam-Ang, Bantugan, Allunsina,  Radia Indarapatra,  Gawigawen, Urduja, Lagrimas, Sarimanok, Akasi, Malyari, Gonongleda, and Rasagadang. Most of them are quite familiar but other are quite hard to find their epic (even with google). The struggle to be free remains to be suppressed by all the corruption and greed that continues and can even turn superheroes into villains.

The Irish band composed of Danny O’Donoghue (vocals, piano), Mark Sheehan (vocals, guitar), Glen Power (vocals, drums) is about to set foot in Manila for the 3rd time. It just goes to show how much these three talented and passionate musicians love performing for Filipinos.
