Yes, for the first time since we share news about Palarong Pambansa which happened annually in various places in Luzon, Visayas and now Mindanao, I am happy to share that Manual To Lyf can share live news as well as the stories that come from the delegates (athletes, coaches, officials, organizers) themselves live from the City of Tagum in Davao Del Norte.

As it is also my first time in Mindanao, the ambiance of doing a far away coverage will be new yet exciting for me. I will be making video interviews and live updates on events that we can attend to. So if you maybe a family or friend of someone who is competing in Palarong Pambansa, give them a cheer from wherever you may be.

DepEd: All systems go for Palaro 2015

The Department of Education (DepEd) has completed the preparations for the 58th Palarong Pambansa in Tagum City, Davao del Norte. The national sporting event’s original kick off date was moved to May 4, to support our boxing champion Manny Pacquiao in his fight against Floyd Mayweather Junior this coming Sunday.

DepEd Secretary Br. Armin A. Luistro FSC said that all necessary arrangements have been secured. “Every year, we aim to make the Palarong Pambansa a special event highlighting what the Filipino youth can showcase to the world in the field of sports,” Luistro said.

Fight to be aired live for Filipinos in 10 communities across the country 29 April 2015

Manila – As the nation prepares for the ‘Fight of the Century’ between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather, Jr., life insurance giant Pru Life UK is saluting every Filipino fighter by bringing the world title fight live to many who have never before had such an opportunity, particularly those who are still recovering from typhoon Yolanda (international name: Haiyan). 

Pru Life UK is working with 10 communities in Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Batangas, Quezon, Albay, Aklan, and Northern Samar, as well as Bantayan Island in Cebu to bring live coverage of the match on May 3rd. On Bantayan Island, the match will be aired in three municipalities of Santa Fe, Madridejos, and Bantayan.

“BATMAN V SUPERMAN” Teaser Poster Revealed

Following last Monday's unveiling of the teaser trailer, Warner Bros. Pictures has now also launched the first two teaser one-sheets of “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.”

The posters individually feature close-ups of the Dark Knight and the Man of Steel with opposite logos superimposed on each other's face.

“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” is the highly anticipated action adventure from director Zack Snyder starring Cavill in the role of Clark Kent/Superman, and Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman.

The film also stars Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, with Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane returning from “Man of Steel,” Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, and Holly Hunter in a role newly created for the film.
