Dwayne Johnson, from Bullied Kid to Lethal Agent in "Central Intelligence"

Dwayne Johnson has solidified himself as a global box-office powerhouse with film revenues exceeding $2 billion worldwide. After doing consecutive action thrillers (“San Andreas,” “Fast & Furious 7”), he returns to the action comedy genre for Universal Pictures' “Central Intelligence,” opening in Philippine cinemas June 15th.

“Central Intelligence” follows Bob (Johnson), a one-time bullied geek who grew up to be a lethal CIA agent, coming home for his high-school reunion. Claiming to be on a top-secret case, he enlists the help of the former “big man on campus” Calvin (Kevin Hart), now an accountant who misses his glory days. But before the staid numbers-cruncher realizes what he’s getting into, it’s too late to get out, as his increasingly unpredictable new friend drags him through a world of shoot-outs, double-crosses and espionage that could get them both killed in more ways than he can count.

Aaron Paul, a Trusted CIA Agent in "Central Intelligence"‏

A three time Emmy Award winner, Aaron Paul is one of the most sought after actors in Hollywood. For five seasons, Paul portrayed the role of the beloved Jesse Pinkman, opposite Bryan Cranston in AMC’s critically acclaimed Emmy Award-winning series “Breaking Bad.”

Now, Paul stars opposite Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart in Universal Pictures' new action comedy “Central Intelligence” in Philippine cinemas on June 15.

Unlikely Friends, Accidental Partners in "Central Intelligence"‏

Pairing Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart as unlikely former high school friends, and even unlikelier spy-busting, world-saving, accidental partners on the run, Universal Pictures' “Central Intelligence” offers a fun and fast-paced mash-up of comedy and explosive action.

Difference in Size Matters in Action-Comedy "Central Intelligence"‏

It's impossible to miss the massive size difference between Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson (who is 6-foot-5, 265 pounds) and Kevin Hart (5-foot-4, 145 pounds) in photos from their upcoming comedy “Central Intelligence.”

Johnson knew the physical pairing would bring automatic laughs.

“With the visual alone, we had a shot at grabbing people,” says Johnson. “That visual is sizzle. And now we have deliver the steak.”

That hunk of meat flips the traditional roles of smart-mouthed comic Hart and action star Johnson. Central Intelligence features Hart as the stiff straight man and Johnson essentially carrying the comedic aspects. Even Hart says he was surprised when the concept was floated.

Disney's "Moana" Finds Her Voice‏

Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Moana” has found her voice following a worldwide search to cast the film’s title character. Native Hawaiian newcomer Auli’i Cravalho, 14, joins Dwayne Johnson in the big-screen adventure about a spirited and fearless teenager named Moana (voice of Cravalho) who, with help from demi-god Maui (voice of Johnson), sets out on a daring mission to prove herself a master wayfinder.

While hundreds of talented people from across the Pacific Islands were eager to try out for the role, Cravalho set her sights firmly on her sophomore year of high school. “I didn’t think I would have a chance,” she said. “When I was little, I used to dance around the house singing at the top of my lungs. In my mind, that was performing and I loved the feeling of it. But I never imagined being in a Disney movie, being Moana—representing my culture in that way.”

REEL DEAL: Sia's Haunting Version of "California Dreamin'" for "San Andreas"

Consistent with the edgy tone of the musical score for New Line Cinema's “San Andreas,” multiple Grammy nominee and international chart-topping artist Sia has interpreted the 1960s classic “California Dreamin'” for the film's soundtrack.

Produced by Oliver Kraus, the song was performed by Sia especially for “San Andreas,” and is heard in tandem with its closing beats and end credits, to echo the evocative and uplifting notes of the story’s big finale.

REEL DEAL: Alexandra Daddario's Survival Instincts are Tested in "San Andreas"‏

Young actress Alexandra Daddario (HBO's “True Detective,” “Percy Jackson: Sea Monsters”) plays Blake, the 19-year-old daughter whom her parents (Dwayne Johnson, Carla Gugino) must rescue after the infamous San Andreas Fault gives, triggering a magnitude 9-plus earthquake.

As her parents race to San Francisco, Blake must rely on her own instincts and resourcefulness to survive and cut a path toward safety.

“Alexandra’s character is a strong woman, not a damsel in distress, and that was important to us,” says producer Beau Flynn. “I have two daughters, so I especially love to see women take on these roles, because the truth is, women are often the real heroes.”

Hundreds of miles away, Blake recovers from the terror of being trapped in a crushed car in an underground parking garage and struggles to regain her bearings. Unable to communicate with her parents by phone except for a few fleeting moments, she discovers that the lessons her father taught her about survival still resonate and guide her.

REEL DEAL: Dwayne Johnson Invite Pinoys To Watch "SAN ANDREAS"

A short clip featuring Dwayne Johnson inviting Filipinos to watch his latest film, “San Andreas” has just been released by Warner Bros. Watch the video here at https://youtu.be/9l2rlfRaQYk.

The action adventure “San Andreas,” from New Line Cinema and Village Roadshow Pictures, reunites Dwayne Johnson with director Brad Peyton and producer Beau Flynn, following their collaboration on the global hit “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island.”

REEL DEAL: Infamous "SAN ANDREAS" Fault Triggers Worst Earthquake In History

New Line Cinema's action-thriller “San Andreas” imagines the largest magnitude earthquake in recorded history. A seismic swarm along a previously undetected fault near Nevada’s Hoover Dam crosses the border to trigger California’s notorious San Andreas Fault, which erupts in a massive jolt that rocks Los Angeles to its core. But it doesn’t stop there. The shockwave travels up the fault line, setting off a ripple effect of chaos and destruction all the way to San Francisco.

It was the fusion of wide-scale calamity and intensely personal connections that drew Dwayne Johnson and director Brad Peyton to the project, while it was still in the latter stages of development with producer Beau Flynn. The three had previously collaborated on the worldwide hit “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island,” and welcomed the chance to work together again on such a vastly different story where everything – the action, the scale, and the emotional beats – is amplified.

REEL DEAL: Jason Statham Take Over As Main Villain In “FAST & FURIOUS 7”

British actor Jason Statham best known for his hard-hitting action films (“Transporter,” “Crank”) takes over as the new formidable villain in Universal Pictures' “Fast & Furious 7.”

In the Fast tradition of baddies, Owen Shaw (Luke Evans) had been the most impressive rival the crew had come up against. However, with one lethal move against Han (Sung Kang), Statham’s Deckard Shaw eclipses his brother with an endgame even more personal: to take Dom (Vin Diesel) and the crew down, one by one.

In the new epic action-adventure “Hercules,” “It doesn’t matter to the titular character if he’s the son of Zeus or not,” actor Dwayne Johnson reflects. “The only thing that matters to him is righting the wrongs of the past. But he has this band of brothers and sisters – and they are the ones who push Hercules to believe that he can be a better man.”

Joining Johnson in the film as his loyal crew are Ian McShane (“Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides”), Rufus Sewell (“Legend of Zorro”), Aksel Hennie (“Headhunters”), Ingrid Bolsø Berdal (“Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters”) and Reece Ritchie (“Prince of Persia: The Sands Of Time”).
