Parokya Ni Edgar releases second volume of Inuman Sessions after eight years

Eight years was all it took for Parokya Ni Edgar to release the follow-up to the phenomenal hit album Inuman Sessions Vol. 1 – aptly titled Inuman Sessions Vol. 2. The project, produced by Universal Records, comes in CD only and DVD with bonus CD formats.

The band’s hits are performed live in the album – Pangarap Lang Kita, Mang Jose, Papa Cologne, One Hit Combo, among others.

“This new volume is actually a continuation of the first,” admits lead vocalist Chito Miranda. “It is a celebration of music, booze, fun, and friendship, just like the first Inuman Session.”

MUSIC LYF: Jessica Sanchez - Stuttering

Remember how the judges were left ‘stuttering’ when the senational American Idol songstress Jessica Sanchez performed a stunning and soulful rendition of Jazmine Sullivan’s “Stuttering”? She sang that song like it was her own and totally killed it! Randy Jackson described Jessica’s performance as the ‘biggest fish of the night.’ Jennifer Lopez added, ‘My favorite part in the middle is you started digging’, while Steven Tyler expressed, ‘Every time you sing, I forget where I am.’

Fans all over the world will surely be delighted to hear the petite powerhouse croon in the studio version of “Stuttering” all over again. The song is part of Jessica Sanchez’ American Idol Season 11 Highlights album repertoire where it takes us back to some of her memorable and brilliant performances in the reality television singing competition, American Idol. It also includes Jessica’s breathtaking and nostalgic rendition of Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You”, her sultry cover of Beyonce’s “Sweet Dreams”, her duet with Joshua Ledet entitled “I Knew You Were Waiting for Me” plus Jessica’s anthemic finale song, “Change Nothing”. At the same time, “Stuttering” is also dubbed as Jessica’s Concert Single for the upcoming American Idol Tour.

REEL DEAL: Guni Guni - Behind The Scenes

Regal Films' goes Horror again this year with Lovi Poe, Empress Schuck, Benjamin Alves, for Guni Guni. We were behind the scenes of the pictorial for the movie with Lovi, Empress, Benjamin together with Julia Clarete, Gerald Pesigan and Ria Garcia.

It was also an opportunity to meet the stars and talk about their movie and what fans and viewers would be excited with this movie. Though we think that their beautiful faces won't scare us at all, but looking on the story would go, it may have this sinister and creepy plot that I could consider of a stick-to-the-mind horror. Directed by Tara Illenberger and will be shown on August 22.

Roderick Paulate admits he has not moved on from mom’s passing

During a recent shoot for GMA’s upcoming station ID, veteran comedian Roderick Paulate was asked to write on a piece of white board whatever or whomever it is that he loves the most.  He wrote “mom” on the board, referring to his diseased mother who passed away three years ago.

Roderick says his closeness with his mom is an “open book” in the industry.  In his past talk and variety shows, the phrase, “I love you, mom!” was almost always a part of the actor’s closing spiels until his mom died.

Three years have passed since his mother’s death but until now, Roderick has not yet fully accepted his loss.

“I don’t want to be ‘plastic;’ I don’t want to be covering my emotions.  Up to now, kahit three years nang wala na ang mommy ko I haven’t accepted it. E ganun e.  Some people say you have to move on.  Fine, but it’s easier said than done.  Pero kahit tina-try ko na sabihin sa sarili ko na ‘she’s in heaven’ ganyan, of course I still miss her so much.  I mean, I want her to enjoy the Kingdom of Heaven and the presence of God but as a human being it’s hard to do kasi nandito pa ako sa lupa e,” explains Roderick who was a bit reluctant to be interviewed about the matter at first.
