Peter Parker strives to join the Avengers as the most popular character in comic book history takes his rightful place as part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, in Columbia Pictures’ new action-adventure Spider-Man: Homecoming (in Philippine cinemas Thursday, July 6.)

Marvel’s crown jewel, Spider-Man made a cameo debut in the MCU in Captain America: Civil War last summer; the overwhelming positive reaction by both the critics and fans to the new vision for the character has whetted the appetite as now, Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios team for this new adventure.

Lightning McQueen is back on the big screen in Disney-Pixar’s Cars 3 -- but he’s not a rookie anymore. Blindsided by a new generation of blazing-fast racers, the legendary Piston-Cup champion finds himself suddenly pushed out of the sport he loves.

“The next-gen racers are cool,” says Cars 3 director Brian Fee. “You can see instantly that cars like Jackson Storm are effortlessly fast. We designed these younger, faster cars to be sleek and aerodynamic—and they’re a sharp contrast to Lightning McQueen.”

Orange Blush Salon’s Grand re-Launch at Franchise Asia Expo

The fast-growing salon chain Orange Blush Salon (OBS)  gears up as it relaunches its brand at the upcoming Franchise Asia Expo set on July 21-23 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. 

The grand re-launch takes place at Booth 207 of this year’s franchise expo, touted as the biggest in the country. "Happy Death Day" Teaser Poster Makes a Deadly `Cut'

The first poster for the new suspense thriller Happy Death Day has just been unveiled by Universal Pictures and Blumhouse. The film is co-written and directed by Christopher Landon (Scouts' Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse).

Blumhouse (Split, Get Out, Whiplash) produces an original and inventive rewinding thriller in Happy Death Day, in which a college student (Jessica Rothe, La La Land) relives the day of her murder with both its unexceptional details and terrifying end until she discovers her killer’s identity.

The film also stars Israel Broussard, Ruby Modine, Rachel Matthews, and Charles Aitken.

Happy Death Day is distributed in the Philippines by United International Pictures through Columbia Pictures.

REEL DEAL: In This Corner of the World REVIEW

We love Japanese Animation Films, they really give good vibes or extreme feels to viewers from any country. And with so many great materials out there waiting to be immortalized by having their own film  is never easy, but when people see the potential and power of the material, indeed budget can can be sourced. From a popular manga, In This Corner of the World (この世界の片隅に Kono Sekai no Katasumi ni) has now come out into theaters to show a different kind of life during World War II in Japan.

Sunao Katabuchi (片渕須直) Directed the film who previously worked with movies like Mai Mai Miracle and Black Lagoon. Based on the manga of the same name written and illustrated by Fumiyo Kōno, the journey of production is also inspiring with a crowdfunding drives were made which raised ¥39 million and another ¥10 million for overseas promotion. The movie currently has a box office of ¥2.5 billion and yet to grow with more distribution and screenings on the way.
