Charice Pempengco bares ‘coming out’ story this Saturday in ‘Magpakailanman’

International singing sensation Charice Pempengco is finally going to tell the whole story about what led to her decision to finally ‘come out’ into the open and announce her being a lesbian.

Charice will portray as herself in this Saturday’s episode of the GMA drama anthology program “Magpakailanman” hosted by veteran journalist Mel Tiangco.  Entitled “The Charice Pempengco Story,” the episode tells of how the young singer’s life changed after her shocking admission of her sexual preference.

Kapuso drama actress Ryza Cenon is going to play the role of Charice’s rumored girlfriend Alyssa Quijano, whom the singer first met in a singing competition during  their pre-teen years.  Their next meeting, which was very recent, was when Alyssa auditioned for a talent search where Charice was one of the judges/mentors.  After the competition, Charice went on to woo Alyssa.

Also starring in the episode are Glydel Mercado and Jan Manual. It is directed by Maryo J. Delos Reyes.

Catch this interesting episode of “Magpakailanman” this Saturday, August 10, after “Vampire Ang Daddy Ko” on GMA-7.
