The Chan Lim Family of Artists and Students has been going around the country in SM Malls to set up exhibits of their artworks which features chinese brush painting in different mediums like scrolls, plates, and fans. Now for this upcoming year of the dog, they also made another milestone for them, the revelation of the finished family painting which took 35 years in the making.
The family and their students makes a great impression with their exhibits all over the country. With generations of artistry passed from their patriarch to the grandchildren. From the traditional paint brush, the younger generation is expanding their artistic repertoire with digital media and audio-visual creations.

The opening of the exhibit was also graced by action super star Robin Padilla who has been a supporter of the Chan Lims for years and has also attended several exhibit launches as well. The highlight of the display was indeed the painting which was made by the Chan Lim brothers and their father. Titled "The Journey," the artwork took a while to finish because the brothers went on with their respective professions in which some have migrated to different countries.

Students have prepared 381 artworks done in Chinese Scrolls, Oil Paintings and plates. The exhibit is joined by 5 artists. The Chan Lim items would like to dedicate this exhibit in memory of Ms. Henry Sy Sr.
