New News Channel ONE PH Now Launched On Cignal TV

A new news channel is launched by Cignal TV that will bring a whole new experience for news and public affairs, ONE PH. This channel complements its sister channel One News and One Sports. They offer all-Filipino shows some are also well known shows from Radyo5 and also made up of the country's news personalities and journalists.

The channel is also a partnership with media institutions like Pilipino Star Ngayon, Radyo 5 92.3 NewsFM, The Freeman and News5. Their combined content and fleet  brings a roster of shows that ranges from news casting, public service, talk shows, and documentaries.


“One PH furthers our commitment to deliver reliable news and public affairs programs that matter most to Filipinos,” says Sienna G. Olaso, Cignal TV Vice President of Channel Management. 

“True to our goal to be ‘Ang Boses ng Pinagkakaisang Pilipinas’ One PH will be home to news programs that inform and educate, talk shows that inspire and entertain, and public service programs that will provide our fellow Filipinos a venue where they can seek help for their problems,” Olaso added.

The channel is also made up of three major blocs which categories the show with similar formats: News Kom, KKK, and S'nS. News Kom are the news broadcasting bloc for the prime time broadcasting. KKK stands for Katarungan, Karapatan, at Kaalaman which offers public service shows. While S'nS stands for Showbiz 'n Sports sharing the scoop on hot topics of entertainment and sports.

The new channel also brings in new and veteran faces in broadcasting in their shows. Just like celebrity mom Jennica Garcia-Uytinco for the show "Inay Ko Po!" that talks about topics about motherhood. Journalist/Motorcycle enthusiast Jay Taruc makes a come back to TV with "Ride Radio". Arnel Ingacio also joins One PH as he is part of the News Kom bloc.

One PH airs on Cignal TV 24 hours a day to provide non-stop news and information to viewers and targets a wider range since some shows are already established shows known by the general public. Tough it also has a number of original shows that are exclusive to the channel, they will also reveal more shows in the future.
