Christmas may come easy to many as it would be the season of festivities and gifts but has it also come to mind to many about the tradition of Misa De Gallo or Dawn Masses which has been part of the Filipino culture even dating back before the revolution. And if you have been reading MTL for quite some time, these days also mean the start of having the Misa De Gallo Simbang Gabi Diaries.
Now at its fourth year, it is inspired with themes every year. And this year, after the calamities that affected a lot of Filipinos, the thing that bound us all is PRAYERS. The nine dawn masses could actually be a challenge to the relaxed urban dwellers who would need to exert effort to complete the nine morning masses.
In the past Misa De Gallo Diaries, i have encountered challenges especially i go to 9 different churches. There is a sense of spiritual achievement despite the challenges that I faced.
