Cast of Kapamilya Show "Hawak Kamay" Had Family Day At Hospicio De San Jose

ABS-CBN’s newest family drama “Hawak Kamay”, soon to be part of the Primetime Bida time block is now in the works and they are making it a very inspiring show by first giving back to people with a Family event held at the one of the oldest orphanage and charity center Hospicio De San Jose in Manila.

Just in time for Manila and San Juan day, they set up a large party held at the covered court of the center. Here the orphaned and special children, elderly, volunteers and staff live in the community in the island in the middle of the Pasig River. With sponsors and partners who provided gifts for the kids and elderly, food and sweets for lunch, photobooth and activities like a magic show and a bubble showcase to give entertainment to all who attended.

Hawak Kamay is led by Piolo Pascual, now going back to do TV series after the success of the movie "Starting Over Again" with Toni Gonzaga.  Joining him are the talented kid superstars Zaijan Jaranilla, Andrea Brillantes, and Xyriel Manabat and introducing Grand i-Shiner Yesha Camille, where Piolo was her mentor during the second season of the Promil Pre-School i-Shine Talent Camp.

The kids also shared some of their talent with song and dance numbers which made the children entertained and happy to see the stars in person. The presence of Iza and Nikki brings more joy to the event as they will also be part of the series. Pinoy Big Brother All In Housemate Axel is seen at the event as he will also be part of the series as Piolo's half brother.

“Hawak Kamay” details the story of a beat down man named Gin (Piolo Pascual), who has dreams of making it big as a musician and is faced with various challenges that may make or break his belief in himself and in the value of the relationships. He begins the story by the side of the woman he loves, Me-ann (Nikki Gil), and is joined by three parentless children, Emong (Zaijan Jaranilla), Harriet (Xyriel Manabat), and Ningning (Yesha Camille). Their situation unfolds under the watchful eye of the estate executor, Atty. Bianca Magpantay (Iza Calzado). As time passes and the situation grows deeper, Gin finds himself developing a different sort of attachment to the three children, and decides to get his act together for them.
