Known for her prowess in acting and singing, Glaiza De Catro has established herself as a gem for the Kapuso network and also a treasured artist for PolyEast Records. Her fans have been clamoring for her new musical release after her last album "Magandang Simulain" in 2017. This year, she opens up to her musical plans that includes moving to London.
She recently launches her lates single "Kapalaran" which is co-composed by her friend Alwyn Uytinco and also joined by Juan Miguel Severo. The single is now available in Spotify though the music video is waiting to be filmed soon.
With the new single, Glaiza also plans to study in London to further immerse herself in music production. This comes where she has more free time from acting which kept her bust in the past few years. Now going back to her roots as a singer, she is now embracing this by studying there for 3 months.
"We all have gifts or skills or talents and whatever it is that you feel you like to do, yun ang kapalaran mo", Glaiza said as she wants to encourage her listeners not to be pressured to what the society tells or dictates you to feel, keep pushing to what you want because whatever it is, it is your destiny. Perfect siya sa song kasi I wanted to convey a strong message and it's impossible not to listen to him when he says something," Glaiza added.
Kapalaran also utelizes Juan Miguel Severo's spoken verse-- making it more soulful and heartfelt. Glaiza has always admired Juan Miguel for his words, sincerity, and power to communicate.
The lyrics and melody of "Kapalaran" that Glaiza did, plus the inspiring personal experience of Alwyn Uytingco shared and the unique vibe arrangement that Axel Fernandez it all made it all different and perfect.
