7-Eleven Tour is back after seven years

Over 3,000 professional and recreational cyclists joined one of the largest bike events of the year, the 7-Eleven Tour 2019 which took place last April 7. The event saw elite and weekend cyclists bike from Clark Global City passing through Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX), then to Subic and back.

7-Eleven Tour 2019 drew cyclists of all ages, from as young as 16 years of age to cyclists as old as 75 years. Participants raced on either the 48KM or 106KM course.  Each course posed different challenges depending on the skill level of the participant, and though the route was quite difficult at times, participants of the 7-Eleven Tour 2019 enjoyed the scenic views in Central Luzon as they passed through via the SCTEX. The 48KM category’s turn-around point was in Floridablanca in Pampanga while the 106KM category’s turn-around point was in Tipo in Zambales.

The 7-Eleven Tour road cycling event is back and registration starts now!

Fresh from the successful staging of 7-Eleven Trail 2019, the premiere mountain biking event in the country, 7-Eleven is now embarking on another road cycling event with 7-Eleven Tour 2019.

After seven years, 7-Eleven is following up the successful Tour 700 with the 7-Eleven Tour 2019. The event, which takes place on April 7 at Clark Global City in Mabalacat, Pampanga, promises to gather professional and weekend road bike enthusiasts for a grueling road race challenge!

The Tour 700: Bayani ng Barangay debuted on May 2012 not just to celebrate the opening of 7-Eleven’s 700th store but also to create a sporting event that will bring the best riders together in a single day race, while also providing a challenging opportunity for newbie cyclists. Held at the Clark Field Parade Grounds, it attracted close to 3,500 participants, competing in either the 40km or the 100km categories.
