Converse #PhotoClashPH Commence at Fairview Terraces

Converse never settled for anything less being a fashion icon. Recently they had the Converse #SneakersClashPH held at Fairview Terraces in line with the launch of their Spring Summer Collection with a lot of fun and cool activities that brings color and action to the people who loves the Converse brand starting with the the re-issue of the Chuck Taylor All Star 70’s. And since they have a lot of choices and editionscollections to their apparel and footwear, they made this chance to showcase these to the public as well as their new brand ambassadors.

FASHIONISTA: Fashion Experiments With Converse Weatherized Collection

Today we will be cooking up something new, not with food ingredients, but with fashion find that we can inside the flagship store of Converse Philippines. Housing the popular Chuck Taylors and other Converse collections like Jack Purcell and specials with comic series like Batman and other DC characters, we can now make an interesting approach to the sneaker brand and it other products.  

Sneakers is probably the best thing that ever happened in footwear. Developed in the past century has now the footwear of the people. And one of the iconic brands, Converse has reinvented itself to keep up with the times as style and taste change. And that is why we answered the call of converse for fashion bloggers to express and impress ourselves through mixing and matching different styles and combination using their latest line up, the  Converse Weatherized Collection. The new line up has a great selection of design and functionality which is both practical and fashionable. 

Converse maybe a brand for the skating generation, this does not limit the other possibilities of styles one can come up with. That is why I like to call it "Fashion Experiments with Converse Weatherized Collection."

Looking at the different designs of the collection, I saw the perfect personalities that would fit for those sneakers. And I have come up with 4 styles using 4 different sneakers, and probably 4 different personalities that come with it.  I posted these pictures in my instagram too.

The community of fashion blogger will be abuzz on November 28, Thursday, as 23 of their most well-known personalities will battle it out in "The 2013 Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Weatherized Collection Look Challenge." Converse flagship store in Glorietta 2 in Makati City will be the stomping ground of this event where fashionistas - both men and women - will have to come up with a distinct ensemble using shoes and apparels (jackets, caps and bags) from the brands Weatherized Collection.

The de riguer fashion statement of the season, the 2013 Chuck Taylor All Star Weatherized collection displays a rough-hewn look perfect for the urban terrain. They are worn by those who want to experience life in all its textures and complexity, the perfect antidote to the safe and experienced. As arbiters of taste and setter of trend, fashion bloggers will be naturally drawn to the collection for its complete disregard of conventions.

Converse Brings The Best New Bands To "Get Loud"

Music is very universal yet there are music that have become too melodramatic and boring, it feels like the same thing over and over again that fill the airwaves and the mainstream scene. However, there are those undiscovered but gold artists and bands which have great pieces to share that are just waiting for that big break.

Converse then made its step to explore hidden Pinoy talent all over the nation that will redefine the Pinoy music scene. Converse recently launched the "Get Loud" campaign in search for the best Pinoy Rock Band talent ready to roll as the new kind of sound.

Converse x Komiks, A Match Made In Punk

Shoes are Boring Wear Sneakers, this is the new mantra of the world known sneakers brand converse best known for their Chuck Taylors, and they had campaigns that not only promote their well-loved brand but also how the new generation will enjoy their lives with it.

That philosophy is also what komiks artists also share which is now on a new age of artistry and audience. Upgrading yet timeless giving its lasting permanence. Then how about having a crossover between them?

Converse Philippine recently  held an event at their flagship store in Glorietta to launch their in-store customization area "Punk Your Chucks". Renowned Filipino komik book artists Kajo Baldisimo and Bow Guerrero - of Trese and Dark Colony fame, respectively-were on hand to showcase artwork of their characters donning converse, and to "live paint" one of a kind pairs of Chuck Taylor All Star Sneakers for their fans.
