After the success of Stephen King's "It", it was expected that another work of his would me remade again for this generation. Pet Sematary was one of them and was announced soon after. The original movie was launched in 1989 and it is just in time for the 30th anniversary for the new adaptation to the wicked story.I have not seen the first film, and have not read the book, which makes this my first impression for this story. Though the story can be adjusted to the modern times, it is important to know what or who is the real evil here.
The story deals with the Creed family who moved from the city for the rural life to take it slow. But evil lurks everywhere in a Stephen King setting, one of kids Ellie found the Pet Sematary while lurking in the woods, she met Judd who knows the dark secrets of the "semetary" and beyond. To make the story short, someone will die, and they will come back to life in not a good way.
