Impressive Growth of 65% BY 1Cooperative Insurance System

2018 has been a great year for 1CISP (1Cooperative Insurance System of the Philippines) which has had their 45th Annual General Assembly held at Crowne Plaza with good news about their growth. This sends positive outlook for the company with further growth in the coming years.

The announcement made at the press briefing led by 1CISP president Roy S. Miclat, he revealed that 1CISP’s total assets as of end-2018 has reached P2.57 billion, an impresive 65% increase from the cooperative’s total assets of P1.55 billion in 2017.  Also joining the presentation were Brig. Gen. Teodoro P. Evangelista, Chairperson and 1CISP Directors Imelda S. Magabilen and Sec. Senen Bacani.

Posts strong growth rates in regular advertising revenues

Strong advertising revenues propelled broadcast leader GMA Network’s (GMA) revenues and profits to double digit growth in the first half of 2013.

The company reported net revenues of P6.725 billion or 14 percent higher than the P5.924 billion earned in the same period last year.

GMA Network hits P13.083 billion consolidated revenues in 2011

Releases cash dividends equivalent to 114 percent of full 2011 net income

GMA Network, Incorporated (GMA), the leading broadcast media company in the Philippines, hit consolidated revenues worth P13.083 billion in 2011.

Notwithstanding the absence of P2.054 billion worth of revenues from political advertisements generated in 2010 and the global impact of financial crisis in Europe and slow economic recovery in the US last year, the Company delivered a fairly competitive business performance. 

In fact, despite the cutback in the advertising budget of top multinationals whose headquarters are based abroad, the Network’s leadership in nationwide ratings won for the Company a substantial portion of the available ad spend. 

GMA Channel 7, the Company’s top performing business unit and the country’s most watched television station, posted an eight-percent revenue growth from regular advertising during the financial period versus the preceding year, more than double the gross national product (GNP) growth rate of only 3.5 percent in 2011.
