The Electric State is a spectacular adventure from the directors of Avengers: Endgame set in an alternate, retro-futuristic version of the 1990s. Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things, Enola Holmes, Damsel) stars as Michelle, an orphaned teenager navigating life in a society where sentient robots resembling cartoons and mascots, who once served peacefully among humans, now live in exile following a failed uprising. Everything Michelle thinks she knows about the world is upended one night when she’s visited by Cosmo, a sweet, mysterious robot who appears to be controlled by Christopher — Michelle’s genius younger brother whom she thought was dead. Director Michael Bay has announced that the first trailer for Paramount Pictures' Transformers: The Last Knight, will premiere in theaters on December 16 in front of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

REEL DEAL: Wahlberg, Cast of "TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION” In Hong Kong For World Premiere

Hollywood descended in Hong Kong June 19 for the world premiere of Michael Bay's “Transformers: Age of Extinction,” the fourth installment of the mega-blockbuster franchise.

The red-carpet event and screening took place at the Hong Kong Culture Center, and attended by director Michael Bay, cast members Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer, Nicola Peltz, Jack Reynor, Li Bingbing, T. J. Miller, Han Geng and the band IMAGINE DRAGONS, who wrote the original song "Battle Cry" for the film and performed live on the rooftop of Harbour City following the film's screening.

Mark Wahlberg Reboots "Tramsformers" Franchise With "Age of Extinction"

Academy Award-nominee Mark Wahlberg (“The Fighter”) gets to show off his fatherly protective side in Paramount Pictures' “Transformers: Age of Extinction,” the fourth installment in director Michael Bay's summer blockbuster franchise.

Walhberg plays single dad Cade Yeager who the actor describes as "a very ordinary guy who has to do extraordinary things in the face of danger to protect his family — anyone can relate to that. It's a little more intense, but there are great moments of humor infused."

Fans can expect a lot of boom from the Michael Bay-directed film, which will introduce a new breed of Transformers — ancient aliens that transform into dinobots. "Michael is always pushing boundaries, but here we're creating new boundaries," Wahlberg says. "This is going to be a very cool ride." 

REEL DEAL: World Premiere of “TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION” Tomorrow June 19 In Hong Kong

Michael Bay's fourth installment of the mega-blockbuster franchise “Transformers: Age of Extinction” will premiere on Thursday, June 19 at the Hong Kong Culture Center in Hong Kong, which is being specially transformed into an IMAX® 3D theatre for this one-night event. The film begins its global roll-out in IMAX (and regular 3D and 2D) theaters on June 25, including the Philippines.

The red-carpet event and screening will take place at the Hong Kong Culture Center, which is receiving a makeover of IMAX proportions exclusively for this event – complete with a 60-by-34-foot IMAX screen and IMAX's proprietary projection and sound technology.
