REEL DEAL MMFF 2013: My Little Bossings

I hues its high time for Ryza Mae Dizon and James "Bimby" Aquino-Yap to have their share of the limelight to star as the main character in a movie. This 2013 Metro Manila Film Festival made this happen with "My Little Bossings" featuring Bimby and Ryza, Vic Sotto and Kris Aquino.

Since this year, Enteng, Agimat, and SRR are shelved fo this year, a fresh story would be a great way to launch the rising career of "Aleng Maliit" and Baby James (Well definitely not a baby anymore).

My Little Bossings brings together the powerhouse productions behind The Enteng Kabisote Series and Sisterakas now together in support of the kids that have become the darling of the crowd. Ryza who won Little Miss Philippines in 2012, and Bimby hails from prominent families has been crowd favorites.

REEL DEAL: Si Agimat, Si Enteng Kabisote at si AKO - MMFF SPOTLIGHT

The magic continues with another installment of the Enteng Kabisote and Agimat franchise which have been a tradition that Bossing Vic Sotto and Sen. Bong Revilla should not be left out in the festival. With these movies considered to be guaranteed blockbuster hits, There is still ways to spin off the stories and even have new ones.

Si Agimat, Si Enteng Kabisote at si AKO is made by IMUS PRODUCTION, OCTOARTS FILM, MZET TV and APT ENTERTAINMENT AND GMA FILMS   and it is the official entry to the 2012 METRO MANILA FILM FESTIVAL.

Story idea by Antonio Y. reyes and Antonio P. Tuviera. Screenplay by Bibeth Orteza ad Jeremy Aven Jacob, DIrected by Tony Y. Reyes, DGPI. We had a Bloggers' Conference with Bossing Vic Sotto to talk about the movie, unfortuneatly, Judy Ann and Senator Bong were not able to attend due to schedules and legislative duties.

It would be Bossing Vic's second Blogger's conference (the first is Enteng ng Ina Mo last year). Bossing Vic shares that the movie stlll caters to the fans and still strive to make the movie entertaining for all. With crossovers with Agimat and Tanging Ina, makes it more fun and also loved by movie goers. Bossing's Christmas wish also is to win Best Actor award.

REEL DEAL: Valiente (2012)

in the 90's it has been a staple for Pinoys (and me when I was a wee boy) after watching Eat Bulaga, one of the most successful afternoon series, VALIENTE has also kept people glued to their screens. Now after 20 years, TV5 brings the series is back with casts from the original series and new ones who are also great actors and actresses from this generation.  A classic in Philippine TV that has been loved by millions of Filipinos bringing a very compelling story of love, deceit, revenge, and friendship now brought to life in the 21st Century.

After a successful run that spanned five years on two major networks, Valiente makes a grand comeback to capture once more the hearts of Filipinos who grew up watching the series as well as the new generation of viewers who would surely relate to the classic story two decades after.

Now airing on primetime for the first time and helmed by multi-awarded director Joel Lamangan, TV5’s Valiente recounts the epic tale of two families whose lives are intertwined by their desire to claim what they believe is rightfully theirs. The compelling story is given new life by a powerhouse cast of this generation’s most bankable actors, including Kapatid stars Oyo Sotto, Nadine Samonte, Niña Jose and JC De Vera.
