It does not need to be in flashy colors yet focuses on the functions and things it can do for the user. It's easy to remove and put the buds in place, and paired with a special earbuds app by Xiaomi makes it easy to locate the buds and make adjustments to sound quality.
It is also quite interesting that these buds have premium audio tuning developed in collaboration with Harman’s Golden Ear Team. This means better sound quality backed by research and experts. Quality is indeed important as buds are more affected by in-ear acoustics and external factors.
