The Simpsons Artist Joins iAcademy As Creative Director

iACADEMY, one of the country’s leading schools in computing, business  and design named Dane Romley as Creative Director. 

Romley is a graduate of Animation from Woodbury University in Burbank California. He was the digital rough poser and supervisor of Topdraw animation studios and he is most known for his contributions in the award winning cartoon, The Simpsons. 

For five years, Romley served as the character layout artist and designer of The Simpsons Television show and The Simpsons Movie. He created layouts including rough backgrounds and camera movements along with character and object animation. He also provided character designs for The Springfield Up and Tree House of Horror XVII.

You’d be hard pressed to see coeds without their phones in hand, listening to their iPods and poking around on their tablets. Everyone is plugged in, 24/7. Schools get that. And as a result, they are revamping the way technology is used to ensure that students maximize its potential for a better college and campus experience. 

iACADEMY-IIDM Free Learning Event with Anton Diaz on Social Media for Businesses and Jason Cruz on Social Media Careers

iACADEMY School of Continuing Education, in partnership with the International Institute of Digital Marketing (IIDM) and the Certified Digital Marketer (CDM) Program, is holding a free learning event on Monday, March 24 at 5 pm at the iACADEMY Amphitheater. Located on the 3rd Floor of the iACADEMY Building, 6764 Ayala Avenue, Makati City. This event is open to the public, with pre-registration on Eventbrite.

The first speaker on the roster is emerging talent, Jason Cruz. Jason is the Director of Community Management at MRM Worldwide Manila, McCann Worldgroup Philippines’ award-winning digital arm. His website, jsncruz.com, was chosen as one of the Top 24 Social Media Blogs of 2013 by Social Media Examiner. His strategies have been used by the biggest names in country such as Coca-Cola, Nestle, San Miguel Beers and Unilever.
