The musical phenomenon that hit cinemas last year is coming to a fantastical conclusion in “Wicked: For Good.” The direct sequel to “Wicked” sees the return of Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo as Glinda and Elphaba, along with Jonathan Bailey, Ethan Slater, Marissa Bode, Michelle Yeoh, and Jeff Goldblum.

The magic continues as “Wicked: For Good” arrives in Philippine theaters on November 19.

From the start, their bond was unmistakable. The pair had dinner at Chu’s house, with producer Marc Platt and composer Stephen Schwartz.  “Stephen went to the piano and said to Cynthia and Ari, ‘Shall we sing, ‘For Good’?” Chu says. “Cynthia and Ari didn’t rehearse it. They’d never done it together. They sang it, and my four-year-old daughter’s jaw dropped to the floor. No one has ever seen two powerhouses like this before. It’s been beautiful to see how well connected they are.”

When Charlie’s Angels hits theaters this November – for the first time in the entire history of the franchise, films and television, directed by a woman, Elizabeth Banks – the new Angels will move to the beat of Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, and Lana Del Rey as Republic Records and Sony Pictures Entertainment release their song “Don’t Call Me Angel (Charlie’s Angels)” and the song’s official music video. The track, which features co-writing credits from all three of the artists, was recently featured in the film’s trailer and is the lead single from the upcoming Charlie’s Angels (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack). The soundtrack is co-executive produced by Ariana Grande, Savan Kotecha, and Scooter Braun and will be available November 1, 2019 via Republic Records, two weeks prior to the films November 14, 2019 release.

Beyoncé’s groundbreaking visual album “Lemonade” won eight Moonmen, including “Video of the Year” for “Formation,” at the 2016 “MTV Video Music Awards,” which aired live this morning from New York’s famed Madison Square Garden. Last February 9, the annual MYX nominations night for the music awards was held at 12 Monkey Music Hall & Pub in Makati. Artists, musicians, and celebrities gathered around to show support and celebrate this glorious event for artists alike. Meanwhile MCA Music was already on a good spot with a roster that dominated the nominations night for being nominated in different categories.

Darren Espanto was the most nominated for being included in 5 categories. He’s nominated for the following categories; Favorite Music Video (Directed by Ian Galsim), Favorite Song for “Stuck”, Favorite Artist, Favorite Male Artist, and Favorite MYX Celebrity VJ. Next to Darren is The Voice Kids season 1 finalist, Juan Karlos Labajo who was nominated for Favorite Male Artist, Favorite Mellow Video for “Para Sa ‘Yo” (Directed by Frank Lloyd Mamaril), and Favorite MYX Celebrity VJ.
