Vista Land’s RFO condo units offer top investment opportunities

Laureano de Trevi is for success-driven
 and highly motivated corporate denizens
who want to live close to their work.

Top-tier real estate developer Vista Land is rolling out scores of Ready-for-Occupancy (RFO) condominium units in sixteen residential towers located across the metropolis. With no interminably long waits for construction to finish, RFO condo unit buyers—both end users and investors--can furnish, decorate, and spruce up their living spaces as soon as they have paid for it. Investors, especially, can immediately make their units work for them as long-term rentals or as staycation homes.

Located close to or within Metro-Manila’s bustling business and residential districts, Vista’s RFO condo homes offer attractive investment opportunities, not in some future date but now. Check out the following:

Vista Shaw is in the heart of Mandaluyong City, site of multiple lifestyle destinations and gateway to the Ortigas CBD and Cubao’s Araneta City. Vista Shaw also offers easy access to exclusive schools and universities, and one of the country’s elite golf courses.

Asterra: bringing convenient living and economic growth to provinces in the Philippines

Asterra is envisioned to be the first affordable
condominium project in flourishing towns and cities.
Living a life of comfort and convenience is every Filipino’s dream, and while a well-designed home and contemporary amenities may seem like the fulfillment of this aspiration, it is not enough. One’s full potential can only be realized when individuals and families are given worthwhile pursuits and opportunities for growth.

This is what Asterra, a personal project of Vista Land and Golden MV Holdings Inc. Chairman Manny B. Villar, offers prospective condo dwellers. They get a shot at modern condominium living, and the opportunities to thrive and prosper in communities with great locations and access to key lifestyle destinations.

Asterra reinvents condo ownership in the Philippines

Asterra hopes to open 16 new projects
by the end of the year.

Despite the seeming boom in condominium developments across the country, condo ownership often gets a bad rap, constantly subject to oft-circulated falsehoods that drive away potential buyers. Indeed, the prevalence of disinformation just might be the sole factor that stands between some people and their dream homes.

A great deal of these myths have to do with the high costs of condo living, the apparent lack of space, minimal privacy in shared areas, or even safety and security in the premises.

From a kargador to a millionaire: Nilo Omillo’s story

Nilo Omillo, a real estate broker for Vista Land for 22 years, is driving in style these days. In a recent ceremony awarding the exemplary brokers of the company, Vista Land Chairman and former Senate President Manny Villar personally handed him the key to a sleek Mercedes Benz E Series. For someone who used to clean bathrooms and knead dough in a bakery, to be rewarded as such means that Nilo, who still has the self-effacing quality of his old days, has reached a personal milestone.
Former Senate President and current Vista Land Chairman Manuel “Manny” Villar hands over a gold key symbolizing a sleek Mercedes Benz E Series to Camella top broker Nilo Omillo (third person from left) for his “work ethic, commitment to excellence and passion to serve.” Omillo, who used to be a kargador and janitor (among other odd jobs), has become a multi-millionaire by selling real estate properties of Vista Land.

YOP: Vista Shaw - Home amid the Hubbub

It’s not always that history and modernity intersect in one real estate project but for Vista Shaw (formerly referred to as 515 Shaw as a nod to its address), they do. This 38-floor, two-tower project, located in the corner of Laurel Street and Shaw Boulevard in Mandaluyong City, features contemporary design and select modern-day amenities, with former President Jose P. Laurel’s historical mansion being a separate, but integral, part of the development.

“Originally, we thought of adapting the Laurel Mansion into a grand lobby but we decided to leave it untouched in order to preserve its integrity as a historical place and allow our residents to see it in its former glory,” says Elizabeth Kalaw, Division Head of Vista Residences. “Each of the two towers will now have its own well-appointed lobby that will usher the residents and their guests to an atmosphere of subtlety and refinement.”

Your Own Property: Portofino by Brittany Reveals New Model Giorgio

South of the Metro is the way to go for a comfortable living away from the congested and noisy city centers. Still within the Metro, Properties like Portofino in Alabang has provided a vast landscape of wide properties and a unique community that is still growing and evolving.

Developed by Brittany, the properties along the roads of Daang Hari and Daang Reyna is a sound development and is perfect for the Italian-inspired homes such as Amore, the 32-hectare Tuscan region-inspired enclave Portofino in Alabang, has a new offering that lets would-be residents indulge their passion for living: Giorgio, a home that combines comfy, cozy living spaces with an elegant, rustic Italian design—all built from the finest quality materials and craftsmanship.

Vista Residences: Condo Living is the Way to Go

A cursory trip to Metro Manila will reveal a curious phenomenon: the frenetic, unstoppable construction of high-rise residences. From mid-rise to towering structures, helmed by novice developers or established real estate players, they are transforming not only the urban fabric and the skyline but also the way people live, how they interact with each other, and their relationship with the city and its myriad opportunities.

“Metro Manila is a prime mega-city that is ripe and ready for high-rise developments,” says Emma Amores, Corporate Communications Head “With over 15 million people calling the metropolis home, it’s inevitable that there will be scarcity of land on which to build. The fact that that it has the country’s most expensive real estate in square meters makes building and buying a home more challenging.”

No wonder that more and more people are embracing condo living. The 21st century will be marked with condominium projects, just like how subdivisions and villages defined the late 20th century. Though there will still be a segment of the home-buying market that will prefer horizontal developments, signs are pointing toward more and more people preferring to live vertically. Here are some of their compelling reasons:

Safe and Stylish Homes for Students

For our parents and their parents, accommodation near the university meant a dormitory, a building with its warren of rooms where they had to live with strangers and share the kitchen, dining area and bathroom with them. Because of cramped living conditions, little or no privacy was maintained. A modicum of security was offered by a guard; a round-the-clock CCTV surveillance was rare if not downright non-existent.

Students of today have far better choices and more flexibility in choosing their second home as they embark on their university life. Vista Residences, a company under Vista Land & Lifescapes which has been providing quality homes for the Filipino family since 1977, positions itself as the foremost real estate developer that caters to the student market. Currently, it is building three projects near the top universities in the country: 878 España (University of Santo Tomas), Vista Residences Taft (De La Salle University) and Vista Residences Katipunan (Ateneo de Manila University and University of the Philippines).

Your Own Property: The Currency - Invest in the Best Property In Ortigas

WIth the boom of real estate in the country, investing in one great way that one can actually look to, and with a lot of properties out there, which one is the hottest and also a good buy?

Well definitely, being in the commercial district is the most sound investment to do. Yet most of them have old buildings or either parking lots which are not for sale or lease. But if we look into Ortigas, there is actually a rising property which sits in the heart of it all and provides all the things you need, your work, your family, your life. All these is in The Currency by Vista Residences.

We met some of the people behind the award-winning project and shared to us how one can actually find a good buy with The Currency. Well it already a given that it is in the middle of Ortigas Center, and it houses both residential and commercial spaces which makes a good economic ecosystem. Compared with competitors, it provides a far more affordable choice yet provides all the modern amenities one can find in other luxurious yet pricey properties.

With the economy on the rise and OFWs investing their finances here in the country, The Currency is what one can be considered the best investment for the long term.  Set to be completed by 2015, its ready to house residents and business to the bustling Ortigas Center.

Christmas might still be a weeks away but it does not mean the spirit of giving has to wait. And on the facade of the property you can already see the Christmas decoration with a life-sized nativity scene and of course Christmas lights and poinsettias.  But its not just that we were there for. We came to witness a early Christmas celebration with the residents of Valenza, contractors and the children from SOS Foundation.
