Child Star-turned-pastor On GMA-7’s Tunay Na Buhay

In life, there is really no telling what the future will bring into the lives of each and every person.

Such is the case for the 26-year-old pastor from a Christian Community in Quezon City. During his early years, he was made famous by the children’s program, “Eh Kasi Bata!’” and a hit TV commercial of the Department of Health.

This Thursday night, on GMA-7's Tunay Na Buhay, join Rhea Santos as she comes face to face with what lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgenders (LGBTs) can consider as manna from heaven-pastor CJ Agbayani.

Pastor CJ Agbayani of the Metropolitan Community Church or MCC has been conducting marriage rites for both sexes for six years now.

They call this rite "Holy Union" where he weds gays, lesbians and bisexuals as couples.

Pastor CJ used to be a seminarian but after several years, decided to leave the seminary to pursue his new "calling."

Reporter's Notebook investigates child abandonment, military 'abuses'

IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT, a security camera captures a disheartening scene:  a young woman leaves her child by the doorstep of someone else's home.  After some inquiry, authorities tracked down her whereabouts.  When asked why she abandoned her child, she said that she did not have the means to raise the child properly adding that if she only had a choice, she would have done otherwise.

This Tuesday, GMA's award-winning documentary program Reporter's Notebook will discuss the problem of child abandonment and what really drives many "unprepared" moms to desert their children.  Are poverty and emotional inadequacy the culprits, or are all these just an excuse to evade the responsibility of being a mom?
