Cebuano-Masbateño fashion designer Leo Almodal, staged his solo fashion show at Okada Manila Grand Ballroom which was filled with many works both exquisite and intricate and brought big names in the fashion and entertainment industry in one night. "I was doing it on a part-time basis. I accept designing and sewing work while studying," Almodal shared how he started as a designer. "My late father was a tailor. My mother was a dressmaker. They both discouraged me to follow in their footsteps."

Despite being an education degree holder, he wasn't fortunate enough to land any teaching post, but the universe conspired with his dream. He landed a job at a bridal couture shop at SM-Cebu. From there, he only stayed there for three months and got hired by Arabs and flew to Bahrain as a fashion designer.

Wi Ha Jun Fan Meeting Tour In Manila

Block off the day for the South Korean versatile actor, Wi Ha Jun, as he holds his upcoming fan meet in Manila, “A Wively Day,” on September 15, 2024, at the New Frontier Theater, presented by Ovation Productions and Applewood.

Wi Ha Jun is known for his role as Hwang Jun-ho in the most-watched Netflix series, Squid Game, and he also starred in the films Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum, Shark: The Beginning and Midnight, as well as the television series Something in the Rain, Romance Is a Bonus Book, 18 Again, Little Women, and Worst of Evil. Currently, he leads the series “The Midnight Romance in Hagwon.” 

In May 2023, he visited the country for his first fan meeting, and his fans in the Philippines have welcomed him with open arms, appreciating not only his acting skills but also his charming personality and dedication to his craft.

foodpanda’s grocery delivery arm, pandamart, has teamed up with the Coca-Cola Philippines to offer free refreshments to freelance delivery partners. Felip releases 7sins album, to hold concert on Jul 27, 2024

Felip pushes his artistry with his newest album, 7sins. 7sins, while not religion-centric, is a journey of acknowledging human shortcomings. The album will take you on a journey of honesty and acceptance about unsaid feelings and emotions, to embracing one’s true self.

Felip releases 7sins the album on July 5, 2024. The album is composed of nine (9) songs, with “envy” as the title/focus track. With the release of the album on streaming platforms, the album will also be released on Felip’s Youtube channel. The other songs represent the other sins such as wrath, greed, and pride, and the album ends with a track called “ache,” which is about redemption and acknowledgement. 7sins is a genre-bending album with songs that show the different sides and stories of Felip.

Despite being busy with SB19 engagements, shoots, and projects, Felip persevered and took a hands-on approach in the writing, creating and producing his album. The album took 7 months of work to write, record, and mix, with late night sessions with Luke April of PLAYERTWO and Isagani Palabyab.
