A1 are set to return to the Philippines this October 2026, and what was already shaping up to be a two-city pop celebration has now grown even bigger with the announcement of a third show in Santa Rosa, Laguna.

The newly added stop lands on 18 October 2026 (Sunday) at the Sta. Rosa Sports Complex, completing a tightly packed Philippine run that now spans Cebu, Manila, and South Luzon. Tickets go on sale, June 15, 12 noon onwards.

The expanded itinerary comes ahead of what is expected to be one of the group’s most emotional and high-energy Asia visits in recent years, following continued strong fan response to their previous Philippine tours.

Seven Lakes Komiks Festival 2024 Brings Komiks Beyond The Metro

Take a break from the hustle and bustle of the Metro Manila convention scene, and join us this May 11, 2024 as we celebrate Filipino Komiks at the Seven Lakes Komiks Festival! To be held at the cozy and laidback premises of Casa San Pablo, this event seeks to create a komiks-centric space to release new books and introduce new and old creators to each other in a relaxed community setting. 

San Pablo is rich with Komiks history, and partnering with both the Komikero Komiks Museum started by the late Gerry Alanguilan, and with Casa San Pablo, the Seven Lakes Komiks Organizing Committee aims to provide a fun filled day of reading and dialogue about komiks, connecting creators with readers, and hopefully create a new fans as well. Let's make our night better and witness the live performance of the iconic Australian soft rock duo "Air Supply", on December 15, 2023, at the Santa Rosa Sports Coliseum, Sta. Rosa, Laguna, for their "The Lost in Love Experience 2023" concert tour.

Independence Day Made More Meaningful with indigent children at the National Housing Authority by Metro Manila Clubs of Kiwanis

Independence Day is a celebration nationwide in the Philippines and a time for a lot of Filipinos for a vacation since it’s also a national holiday but to some of the Kiwanians under Philippine Luzon District in Division 3A; Mckinley, Malate West, Makati, Manila Bay, Pasay, Pasay North and Pasay Eagle, they made sure that 1000 kids from National Housing Authority will enjoy the freedom they are experiencing today. 

Headed by Engr. Grace Bondad Nicolas, Lieutenant Governor for that Division which is composed of the Metro Manila clubs, they launched the feeding, medical mission and gift giving for the children that resides inside the National Housing Authority in Barangay Santo Tomas, Calauan, Laguna headed by Captain Rommel Belano. 

Psychology Testing for indigent kids in Laguna under Kiwanis with incoming Governor

Calauan, Laguna where you can find the sweetest pineapple in the south, the Kiwanis International, Philippine Luzon District, Division 3A conducted a Psychology Testing to indigent students in the biggest public school in the area spearheaded by Malate West Club with the assistance from other clubs that includes Makati, Manila Bay, Pasay, Pasay North, Pasay Eagle and Los Baños. 

The incoming governor of the district, Glenda Hufano graced the activity and shared some valuable lessons to the different members of the clubs on how to continue helping the children and at the same time to establish clubs for kids. 

The objective of the psychology test is to determine if the child is in need of help using the result of the different exams and interviews. Psychological assessment is viewed as a privileged encounter between a child presenting problems and an expert in child development, psychopathology and assessment.

ER Ejercito Continues Gubernatorial Campaign And Possible Netflix Deal

Gamit-Talabong, Kalahi Rabago, Erwin Sacluti and Gener Dimaranan, and private respondent Marilyn Bruel, guilty each for one count of violation of Section 3(e) of the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act, with the accessory penalty of perpetual disqualification from holding public office.

Ovation Productions Presents John Ford Coley Live In Sta Rosa!

American singer John Ford Coley will be performing at the Santa Rosa Sports Coliseum is Santa Rosa, Laguna on August 11, 2018 produced by Ovation Productions.  John is a classically trained pianist, guitarist, actor and author most known for his partnership in the musical duo England Dan & John Ford Coley.

John is not new to Filipinos as he has frequently visited the Philippines due to the massive popularity here of England Dan & John Ford Coley music.  His first visit to Manila was via a three night Valentines weekend concert at the Folk Arts Theater in 2000  where he appeared with the late Jimi Jamison of Survivor, David Pack, and Ambrosia. Rupert Holmes who was initially in the bill was a no-show. Working together in Manila enabled John and Ambrosia to do more frequent appearances and collaborations together in the U.S. on many occasions.  The Valentines concerts were produced by Ovation Productions who brought them back together after a few years to open for the band America at the Araneta Coliseum.

Alden Richards to hold Simply Alden Concert in Laguna

Alden Richards, who had been most notably known in the well-known television Kalyeserye will be holding a concert for a cause entitled “Simply Alden”. The concert will be held at FRA Angelico Gym, Colegio de San de Letran, Calamba City, Laguna on July 9.

Simply Alden is a concert conceptualized by Alden himself and he says that this one comes from his heart. Jav Virtual International (Javirii) is the organizer of the concert and will be donating part of the proceeds to help Bahay Mapagmahal. New High Performance Facility Rises In Laguna

The country’s national Rugby team, the Philippine Volcanoes have found a home in Laguna. DepEd ensures safe and learner-centered Palarong Pambansa

For Education Secretary Br Armin Luistro FSC, the Palarong Pambansa is more than just an annual sports meet. “It is the culmination of all sports and physical development programs of DepEd from Kinder to Grade 12. Nakapaloob ito sa K to 12 curriculum,” he explains prior to meeting Department of Education (DepEd) regional directors. 

DepEd, Laguna, ink agreement on 2014 Palarong Pambansa

The Department of Education (DepEd) and the Provincial Government of Laguna solidified their partnership to conduct the 2014 Palarong Pambansa through a memorandum of understanding (MOU) signed on January 13 by Laguna Governor Emilio Ramon “ER” Ejercito Jr. and Education Secretary Br Armin. A. Luistro FSC. The MOU stipulated the duties and responsibilities of both parties to ensure a well- managed and professionally run Palaro.

“The Province of Laguna will be the first host to the first Palarong Pambansa, which started in 1948, under the recently passed Palarong Pambansa Institutionalization Law or Republic Act 10588,” explained DepEd Assistant Secretary for legal and legislative affairs Tonisito Umali.
