Developing countries should look at the playbook of a once-garbage-ridden island republic in Asia, which is now one of the world's leading recycling countries.
More than a couple of decades ago, Taiwan grappled with a widespread waste disposal problem. Inaction pushed the residents of Taipei to protest, thus enacting change through laws and other government measures.

Fresh from his series "Toda One I Love," Ruru now focuses on honing his talent in singing which was somehow eclipsed by the projects he had in recent years. Despite the moon landing – 1969’s great crowning achievement -  the growing darkness culminated on August 9, 2019, when a band of hippies lead by self-proclaimed messiah Charles Manson broke into actress Sharon Tate’s Bel Air home and murdered the 8-months pregnant star and 4 of her housemates.  The murders shocked and terrified not only …

TFC asked two young overseas Filipinos to answer the question “what will you choose, love or career? Why?”
Snooky, 27, from Japan, chose career. She explains: “Love can come anytime, while you have to build your career from scratch until you reap what you sow. Also, frankly speaking, nowadays there is a bigger chance to find an ideal partner once you are financially stable. It makes me feel happier and satisfied to attain my personal goals in life first before settling down.”

Although Fast fans already know Luke Hobbs and Deckard Shaw, director David Leitch wanted to re-introduce them on their own terms and establish their lives away from the rest of the Fast team. The first scene in Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw hilariously contrasts Hobbs’ laid-back life in California with Shaw’s extravagant life in London, using a split screen to highlight just how opposite these two heroes are.
“The opening sequence is really clever and is one of my favorite little moments of the movie,” Jason Statham says. “It’s spot-on because Hobbs and Shaw are so different yet so similar. I think it’s a tightrope that Dave walks rather well throughout the film.”
