"Abominable" Opens at No.1 in the U.S., Arrives in PH Oct 2

Abominable opened at No.1 the US box office this weekend (Sept. 27 - 29) as DreamWorks Animation and Pearl Studio’s fantasy adventure debuted to $20.85 million in North America, marking the best opening of the year for an original animated film.

Abominable takes audiences on an epic 2,000-mile adventure from the streets of Shanghai to the breathtaking Himalayan snowscapes. In the film, when teenager Yi (Chloe Bennet) encounters a young Yeti on the roof of her apartment building in Shanghai, she and her mischievous friends, Jin (Tenzing Norgay Trainor) and Peng (Albert Tsai), name him “Everest” and embark on an epic quest to reunite the magical creature with his family at the highest point on Earth.

Sarah Paulson Lends Voice to Shady Zoologist in "Abominable"

Hot off the success of Ocean’s 8, Glass and Netflix’s Bird Box, Golden Globe and Emmy-winning actress Sarah Paulson now lends her voice to Dr. Zara, the mysterious zoologist in DreamWorks Animation and Pearl Studio’s fantasy adventure Abominable.

Animals Slay in New Posters for "Angry Birds 2," "Crawl," "Abomimable"

Hostile birds, a voracious gator and a fluffy yeti. Creatures in their cute and fearsome forms take the spotlight in newly unveiled one-sheet artworks for three of the year’s eagerly anticipated films -- the animated comedies The Angry Birds Movie 2 and  Abominable, and the action-thriller Crawl.

Check the posters below and watch The Angry Birds Movie 2 in Philippine cinemas on August 21, followed by Crawl on September 19 and Abominable on September 25.

Universal Pictures has just unveiled the new one-sheet artworks for three of its highly anticipated films of the year -- the suspense thriller Ma starring Octavia Spencer, the rock-and-roll comedy Yesterday and the animated comedy adventure Abominable.
